Pretty interesting......did you adjust the specularity or the metallicity? Would of made it more crisp.

Just render at fine or super fine.....should make it look better but with all the refracting reflecting going it may still look the same. You could limit that by turning on the TIR.

In Bryce next to the "BIG" render button there is a little down arrow. Click on that and a window will open which will have as an option "render properties". Go into that option and behold the render engine of Bryce. On the top left are the various rendering qualities which Bryce has along with other options that will do this and that. Basically what happens when you render at normal is that Bryce ray traces every inch of an image 5 times with a final pass that anti-aliases the image (called Super Sampling). When you choose a higher render (Fine for example) instead of doing those 5 passes and then the super sample it instead super samples each and every pass depending on the per pixel setting you give it will increase the rendering time. Also, during normal rendering the rays (from the ray tracing) are shot to the top left of every pixel but at the higher render settings the rays are shot out at the pixels randomly from one sample to the next. I could go on and on but If you need more tips just email me.
