Forget auto levels - do a manual levels correction and it's even better

Oh and, i have been playing with Terragen also. I am sort of pleased. I don't like the way waters turn out. For example, in your picture the whiteness on the water edge ends sharply when you hit the land. They should change it so that it looks smoother.

Other than that your view is really nice. Good job!

Craig Little you're right! That brought out the suns rays and lovely reflection in the water!

This is wonderful -- and is very very close to the real Crater Lake (which I visited last summer -- truly beautiful). Nice job!

I agree with MGiff. Get some contrast in the picture and you got a sure winner. Photoshop has auto Level and that might do the trick or use brightness/contrast. Everything else is fine.

Thank you all (Especially DM, LadyWolf, A_67 and joetheblow) for the comments/suggestions... It is not, in fact, modeled after Crater Lake. (I just needed a name) Ill try and get a more contrasted version out soon...

Gorgeous! Excellent work... there are so many abstract walls being made I like seeing something that actually resembles... well... something!
