I sure like it. I like the creativity behind it and the useful UI features in it. A lot of skin authors could learn from this skin (myself included).

I'm running dual-monitor 1600x1200 in both, and don't have any problems with this skin. Aside from it being a little dark.

I do like the background of the Start Menu though.

I really like the skin, but I had to quit using it. Even after applying the reg fixes, there are too many dialogs in various programs, where the text can not be read using this. It seems to turn a lot of text to white.

Well . . . yes. It does. The problem is that people (and in particular, programmers) tend to assume that text is always black. WB has the same problem with assumptions that windows are always a certain width.

Unfortunately, if you like dark skins, there's not a lot you can do directly. Programmers do listen sometimes, though, if you show that their programs can look bad (I got the author of MBM to force his text black). It'll take time, but hopefully people will take more notice of this problem in the future.

Wow!! Now this is a skin!
At last a skin that looks a bit different from the rest of the XP skins . At last an XP skin that's actualy worth downloading (sorry Adni & Alexandrie).
...But (ther's always one)...
The icons in my systray are covered up (making them invisible & inaccessable <g>) until I perform some seemingly random action like clearing the IE history, play an mp3,... Someone, anyone, knows of a sollution for this minor drawback???

How come the fonts on web pages are white? I can't read the words on the pages.

Because page designers use white backgrounds, but don't set black text, just assuming it's black (actually, I think FrontPage is to blame for this). Run the included iefix.reg file in your WindowBlinds\DockingStation directory, or (in IE) select Tools/Internet Options/Colors... and deselect "Use Windows Colors". (also check that text is set to a dark colour there)

I don't have loan calculator, but I assume that it has a white background. Unfortunately, if it is set to be always white but the text is set to be the same colour as window text, you will not be able to read it. If it's something that you can edit, go into design mode and change the background atribute to something darker - otherwise, use the WindowBlinds colour overrides in Display Properties/Appearance(or Skins)/Advanced to change the colour of Window Text to a light grey so you can read it.

As to the scrollbars, you will not see them if you are not using an enhanced build of WindowBlinds (one that you pay for). If you haven't had to enter a serial code anywhere, you're not, and won't get the scrollbars.

Laurence - Fantastic work. Just incredible to show what WB can do. Aside, by my calculations I have determined that you could actually place approximately 19 more icons on your desktop....

Sure, I _could_, but I wouldn't want it to get too cluttered . . . *g*

Is there a fix for getting black text in an HTML window in Outlook Express 6? I can set IE itself for black text, but web page views in OE are still white. Otherwise a great looking functional skin.

Unfortunately, no, not that I know of. I have looked into this, but OE is obstinate - I think I actually managed to fix it with a registry hack, only to have it reload settings (and not the right settings) from IE on restart.

Setting some of the IE accessibility options in Tools/Internet Options (like "ignore page colours") worked, but this unfortunately messes up web pages, which I tend to find worse than messed up email.

You can at least read HTML mail by selecting all the text and reading it inversed. I find most of the HTML mail sent to me is spam in any case. Sorry not to have a fix, though.
