I love this skin, I have been playing with it all day. I can get the transparency, but don't know how to change the colors, also where can I get the rainlendar? XP Home.. Thank You for the Great Skin!

Darco - the colors are all subskins. The skins called "Basic" are UIS1 (works with Photoshop). There's a drop-down list you choose them from in the display properties.
The Rainlendar skin is at SkinBase, Deskmod and ArtUproar.

OK, finally found out how to change the colors by re-reading the preview. Still can't find the rainlendar skin.

Thanks David, you must have just posted while I was searching, thanks for the directions in the preview, I still can't get over all of the work in this. I put it with "Music To My Ear" by Apocalypse 67, looks great!

no I am on a a reg set up. I am on a small home network, but I am using reg XP home. I have a user pic, most of the ones that come with different WB skings show normally but a couple of them are showing up as pink pics. I don't know if that is the latest WB4 updates are keeping them from being transparent. I should try to download some other skins too see if it's just your pict or not.

And obviously I can't type or spell, lol. I tried different ones and yours and Stinger are the recent skins that have a pink user pic.

I thought it would take a long time to find a skin to replace Skin Factory's XBox on my machine, but this one is it.
If I had the time, the skill and the talent, this is exactly how I would design a skin.

p.s. The only thing I have found so far that doesn't quite look right is the Google toolbar for IE. The button images don't blend well into the dark buttonface color.
But that's a very small sacrifice I'm perfectly willing to make.

This is great! For those of you looking for CursorXP themes to go with this, I like the LightSaber theme that came up recently (should be in the first two or three pages on the CursorXP part of the site.) Great skin!

I don't think any body has dl as many skins as I have (Maybe)and I have to say this is one of the best I have seen. One thing is missing for me, where is the wall??

The wallpaper shown in the screenshot is "Monochrome Disaster" by SuperheroCanadian posted here at Wincustomize. (the library is down right now so I can't give you a link)
terranx - I think I figured out what's going on with the user pic. There is no user pic with this skin. You must be loading the file from the skin's folder called "userpic.bmp" It's just a pink square, it's not meant to be used by the start menu. It's just a placeholder for the UIS file.

An update to the WBTrans plugin is available at http://www.bath.ac.uk/~cs1lomp/wbtrans.zip - this fixes the problem with Explorer windows not becoming transparent. Apologies to anyone who's experienced this bug. To install, change to another skin, then extract the dll file inside the zip to your WindowBlinds/alien_tech directory, overwriting the one there.

I think you need a plug in from winamp to make the winamp buttons work. the buttons work for winanp 2.8
