Also Honz, it should be using let skin decide. Try upgrading to WB4.00a. It fixes the taskbar bugs people have with the taskbar being the wrong size.

I get the jagged start button also (I use WB 4) unless I set it to "use small taskbar". Great skin! Hope to see more from you.

What I notice is this: When I force the small taskbar, it's perfect. When I let the skin decide, it's stretched.
I'm not trying to be cheeky, only trying to help solve the problem so please don't flame me. Maybe you had the 'force small taskbar' set when you were making this skin? And so never noticed the stretching.
I checked it out in SkinStudio and managed to fix it. Go to your taskbar button, quicklaunch and tray margin settings. Change the content values for top and bottom to 0. I've already done it here and it fixes the problem.
