Excelent skin

Ive noticed 2 small problems...

first is the START button - when mouse over - there seems to be a black line - looks like a crack !

second on the START panel the 'all programs', 'log off' and 'turn off computer' - when mouse over - seem to have a single color rectangular background (not the beveled edge like the other buttons) - also the positions of these buttons aren't right - since they overlap the background lines / contours

hope this helps

stevejohnsteele.. LOL . I was wondering if someone was going to comment on this. The title of the skin is "Out of the woodwork" The start button when left alone shows a bug in it. When you mouse over it the glass shatters, and when you press on it, you'll see that the glass is completely broken, signifying the bug breaking loose from the glass. Imagination my friend, Imagination. And yes the log off/shutdown buttons were supposed to do the same thing, but I could not get them to function like the start button. But I am concerned about one thing you said. The position of the log off/shut down buttons: are they overlapping (or parially hidden like they appear to be in the screenshot? If so theyre not supposed to. I thought that was just a glitch in the screenshot. (

candicolette...I dont know why the skin is crashing for you, but I will tell you that I also have experienced this a couple of times when downloading other peoples skins when they appear to give other people no problem downloading them.

This is the best woodgrain i have seen yet.I am a professional woodworker and this maple is so right.Could use a few contrasting elements tho.(some inlays or hardware perhaps)Looking forward to an update for this one.Good job!

Ive had another look

personally I dont like the crack

as for the log off / turn off buttons...

On the actual start panel there is a bevel edge just above the 'All Programs' text,
the mouse over for All Programs, Log Off and Turn Off is a large single color rectangle - its this rectangle that is to big and goes over the bevel edge

if possible I suggest changing these buttons to look like the other standard buttons - sort of thin bevel

The text / buttons on the actual log off / turn off windows may need to be moved up by about 8-12 pixels - or close the gap between text and icons

The user name text on the start panel - I suggest changing the font - it looks a little squashed (condenced / thin (left-right))

hope this all helps
