Well well well, i think there's a few ways to approch the "skinning" attempt ...
The top is of course the suprem ARTISTISC + TECHNICAL result of the skin (mean by technical, the ability of the skin to use the software features the skin is done for ...), but another way is also to let users PLAY with their stuff and try to do their best. Though on a artistic point of view, it's most of times a matter of personal tastes, but BTW i just wonder why anyone could not upload their own works even some others don't like the result
And above all, if someone doesn't like a skin, there's an easy way to go: just pass it over
or leave a comment to tell why u don't like it in a constructive way for the skinner to improve his work ...

What sadaam doesnt get is there are all kinds of themes out there. Some are practical and meant to be used on an every day basis, some are fun and just for the sake of doing the theme, others like this are right in the middle. Its fun to ride for awhile but somehting new will come along soon and you will have too try it out. Dont get me wrong mitchec, this is really good work and you shouldnt take it as a negative. You should be proud. I am sorry to sour your comments. I just wanted to comment on your work but I couldn't resist speaking my mind as well.

I'm using Photoshop. The reflections are just gradiant overlays with reduced opacity to let some of the background show through.

VERY nice! White text near the top of the start menu is a little difficult to read and title bars' marble effect seems washed outtoo bright to notice, but it's still really cool!

I just dropped by, to let you know that this skin is so very well thought out, not to mention functional, that I just had to congratulate you on a job well done!
The attention to all the little details... the icons on the Internet Explorer taskbar, the clean lines around the buttons, and the shading and textures, are definitely a cut above the standard fare...
I needed a new skin, badly... and I'm just so glad this was here! Beautiful work, and may there be many more!!!!
