I'm not sure what you mean. the taskbar always looks like that if there are no quicklaunch icons or any windows open.

Great skins. I only have one problem with it. I don't want to use you'r included wallpaper. Every time I reboot my computer it defaults back to you'r wallpaper. Do you have a idea on how to stop this.

I do - open the windowblinds configurations under basic setting and uncheck wallpaper supplied. That's it. 
***note for -xino: i've made matching rainlendar and weather widget skins for this windowblinds. sent a request to the mail supplied here. haven't heard anything. I made them in the default color but the weather widget has a hue changing slider. you can check them out in purple at https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=13&SkinID=6306 can I have your permission to upload them to wincustomize jaidaksghost@bellsouth.net

Thanks jaidaksghost, I had checked for a setting in windowsblind. Looks like I overlooked this setting.

Love the skin, but I see one problem. I run my Start Menu/Taskbar in vertical mode along the left side of the screen. The "All Programs" segment of the Start Menu is slightly out of alignment. It looks like it is shifted to the left by 20 or 30 pixels.

I hate to tell you, but this problem is only coming from you. I've tested this skin long ago and so did the programmer for Skinstudio (since he uses vertical taskbars only). The vertical taskbars work perfectly for him and myself. All I can say is try to reload the skin or perhaps reboot. I know if you update windowblinds and don't reboot afterwards, there can be problems like this that pop up from time to time.

I can only seem to get the standard windows throbber... the white one with the flag... but all the pics show a black one? Anyone else have this problem... I hate the standard throbber...

I don't know the answer. that wasn't something I added to the WB skin, it was just something that was in my IE at the time. sorry.

Well I plead with you then... please give this skin an updating with 4.5... an alpha effect on parts of the start menu could be very cool as well as the addition of some of the other new WindowBlind tricks... and yes a custom throbber for this skin would just be the cherry on top... but just my opinions... I love this skin... it's my Favorite bar none... Oh... I hate to ask but a couple of feature that I have seen in other skins that would really go well here are
1) a transparancy button... for each window, I have seen this before and on this skin it would be great...
2) Winamp or Media player controls on the window borders... again I have seen this before but on this skin it would be transendant...
3) a roll up button for windows... as above...
4) a compact start menu choice...
Again I feel lame even asking but the skin is already so amazing these features would require a drool bucket for me... so just something to think

currently I've moved on to better things. transparency wouldn't help anything on this skin except to "round out" the start menu edges. there is already the ability to roll-up the window, just no button. right-click ont he top window border. there is no need to have any kind of system menu on the window border either. it didn't fit the theme of this WB. I have no use for a transparency button myself, so I feel no need to add one here. also, compact menu would be too much work for me since I'm currnetly working on at least5 more skins. this one was my first and I'm perfectly happy with the way it turned out. I don't feel, at this time, there is any reason to "update" it or add features to this skin. sorry to disappoint you.
I made this only as a way to get my foot in the skinning world's door, since this is my first publicly released skin. many better skins will be coming out soon. keep on the lookout.
