Veeeeeeery nice Christine!!
One suggestion though: Change the 'paint mode' for the left and right frames to "stretch" in stead of "tile"
Apart from that, top job!
(interesting positioning of titlebar buttons!!)

not bad. very original and creative. Nice colors with winter bearing down on us soon. Graphics are just a little rough. Not bad though. I give it a 7.

A very, very nice design, and besides things already pointed out, maybe a subskin with thinner taskbar & titlebar? I ageree with rpguere - it's a 7.

Thanks for the comments and critique. Sorry for being late in responding but someone was doing networking at my end and couldn't get back on until now. Thanks Snowman, didn't catch the tile of the sides.

SweetAnnie. Just double click on the ecliptic.wba file and it will install. You can then apply it by right clicking on your desktop, hit properties, go to appearance and go to the block that says windows and button, click the arrow, select the skin you want and then do apply.

SweetAnnie, have you installed Windowblinds? If not, go here - http://www.windowblinds.net/ . Install the program, and follow the instructions provided. If you can't get it to work, ask in the messageboard. You find it here - https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp

Good luck!

SweetAnnie, has the file the right extension? (.wba) For some people running Windows XP SP2, it is sometimes renamed to a zip-file. Right-click the file and choose rename and call it Ecliptic.wba and then try to install it.

Is there any naming policy to be followed here? No disrespect to starone or this nice skin, but Essorant already has a longstanding skin by the same name.

There are just too few words for naming skins aren't there? I'm struggling for a name for my new one which is called 'temp1' at the moment!

kenjamd is right - I did one called ecliptic quite a while ago: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=1&SkinID=1590

...but I'm not worried if you prefer to keep your skin named the same thing. Not sure what would happen to people with an existing different skin of the same name though! Bitmaps might get mixed up! Anyone know of a policy on this?
