Hi,
I fixed this problem.
Here's what you do. (if you have windowblinds folder easily accessible on your computer, then just find the name of my halloween skin and delete it completely , if not then do the following:
1. click on start button on toolbar,
2.go to search command and click on search, and select Hard Drive C:
3. type the name of windowblind like my halloween or any other windowblind skin you have. click on search.
4. when search shows the name of windowblind,(they are all by alaphabetical order) find among them your installed skin, my halloween and completely delete it.
This is the surest way.
5.The go back to windowblinds website ansd download and install it again
I did it and it worked.

It's sad that Xav has left us. His skins were the BEST!

This skin seems abandoned, but it would be outstanding for a taleted skinner to update this blind for Windows 7. It's a classic, and would really be awesome if were fully working on Windows 7.

I have WB 4.0.
downloaded and installed halloween 2005 to desktop ,which is more convenient because you can see windowblinds icon. After it downloads , it installs. I see icon coming up on the right lower corner of computer screen " skin called "" has been isntalled", it should say the name of skin , instead it gives "", signs.
I had this problem before. When you get "" instaed of name of the skins, then something didn't go right. So, I cliked on windowblinds icon, windowblinds open, and I see other window blinds skins(installed before),except halloween_2005 is missing.
Yesterday, I went again to deviant art, and downloaded skin. It seems like this time it did install correctly. Now, as I am looking at this skin, I don't see any difference between " myhalloween" 2004 version and the new one. They are identical. The same color and style. The name of the file I have is still" My _halloween" by Xav 73. Is that the correct name?
What was the difference between old and new one? Are there new colors?
I think the reason why skin didn't install correctly is because the file is to big.
