Hey JAYdd! Love the update,this skin kicks ASS! It's a 10 in my book,i also query the judging criteria.It seems a bit "Clicky" but don't worry,true talent will always shine through and i believe quite soon you'll get the recognition you deserve! Well Done!

I love this skin. Especially the "glow" buttons. Thanks. One problem, though. The whole right side of my start menu (the side with recent documents, my documents, control panel, etc. is compressed......I only see the first letter or so of the text labels. I suppose its because I'm running 1600x1200 on that monitor, but was wondering if theres a way to fix it. Appreciate your hard work!

Without a doubt, one of the best skins I've ever seen. I really believe you have some of the best artistic talent I've ever come across, JAYdd. Thanks for the skin and please keep them comming.
BTW, I have three different colors to use already, depending on my mood. Forced coloring works great with this skin. I also like the new glow effect. It's like icing on the cake.

Thank you very much �theroot�. The recognition, comments & e-mails I�ve had in response to the skin has been unbelievable. Thanks to all, your feedback is really appreciated & makes sharing my work worth while.
'Cosin12', It sounds to me like your problem is due to the size of the icon's you are using & not your screen rez. (how big's your display? that's a HUGE resolution !). There's a few ways to correct the problem. You could change the size of the icons in the start panel, use skinstudio to increase / decrease the width of the start panel or you could use the standard sub style included in the download which will give you a full text & icon display.
Hope this helps.
(If you still have problems, mail me a screen shot of the start menu & It'll give me a better idea of what the problem is).

Jaydd - Sorry for my not understanding what I was doing there......I changed to the (Standard)sub-style, and now it looks perfect. I don't understand wht that was all about, but I have seen the same "compression" on some other skins. Thanks again for black metal.

very well done and i aggre with u on how some authors can get a straight 5 stars for unattractive work and others get 3 stars for masterpieces...i agree that its a matter of popularity (and suscribes?)

I noticed that in the skin select window a small preview of the skin doesnt show up. The one right above the slide bar at the bottom. But once you select the skin, the larger preview does show. It's just the smaller one...

By the way, this skin is VERY cool.
I was wondering, also, is it possible to put the 'glow' effect on the title bar buttons, toolbar buttons, menu items, etc.? I am not familiar with the newest version of WB so I didn't know if this was possible.

Also, some dialogs have the glow effect on the buttons, and some don't. They also don't have the cool gradient background. Example: IE dialogs (have the effects) vs Firefox dialogs (do not).

. I dont use it so I never think about checking the skins.

This is a wild skin...... and I like it lots! Dark/Black skins are generally very difficult to create without text color problems on dark backgrounds, e.g., buttons. But this one is simply great!
Question: Did you forget the toolbar icons in this latest update from the ones you have in the screenshot? I checked in the WB configuration/My Toolbars section and there are none shown for this skin. And I also checked in the BlackMetal V2 folder and there are no Toolbar icon files?

Sorry 'Hapkido', I forgot to change the toolbar icons before I took the Screen shot. I don't normally include toolbar icons as I use the XP defaults most of the time..
Anyway the toolbar icons in the screen shot are from the Darth WB skin by the awesome Dangeruss & updated by Mike B.
