This skin is exceptional .. superb work. I can really think of only one improvement that would make it perfect .. can we have a version without the user icon box for those of us on domains? Please??

As to the question of how skins are rated, the WinCustomize site states that members with Journeyman status or above rate the skins uploaded to the site. There is a review process that each skin submitted by someone with status below Journeyman goes through before being posted on the site. I do not know what process is used to update the rating. Perhaps it is set initially by the reviewer and upgraded based on the number of downloads.

I like this one quite a bit. The only issue I have is with Outlook and MS IM. The status text in the bottom is black, making it near impossible to see. I am more than happy to change that myself, I am just not sure where to do that. I could not seem to find what would affect it. Anyone have a pointer? TIA

Forgot to specify, that is status text in the bottom border area for Outlook and IM.

It's not just FireFox, I just used that as an example. Another example is the buttons in the Options dialog of Microsoft Word don't have the 'glow'. My point was that they work in some apps, but not in others. This may be a WB limitation because of the way certain applications render their buttons in a non-standard fashion. 
Otherwise, I am loving this skin more every day (I think I'm just going to delete all of my others!)

Thanks for the effort JAYdd. I am talking about Microsoft Instant Messenger, not the MSN version but the version that comes with XP and Exchange. Windows Messenger. I believe the Outlook and IM issue is for the same reason. It is in the bottom area that would be the status area, but a different type than the My Computer version of the status area. In both it shows things like connection status, someone typing a message, synchronizing folders, etc.

On the the right hand side dialog text, select 'Install from disk'. Then select the zipped skin from the folder you downloaded it to. Once you've added the skin to the windowblinds library, select it & press 'Apply skin'.

hey man this is like the best windows blind ive downloaded so far its got the transparency button a screensaver button and all the normal ones all in the top of the window i really like the glowing effects and the overall sounds and style is really good i couldent have asked for something better excellent job
