Great theme but....

It's a great skin! The fonts are great, animations which includes the download manager, progress bar are awesome looking. This skin has only 3 or maybe 4 problems to my knowledge.
1. Skin is not compatible with Adobe Indesign - When I load the original windows XP theme the interface of Adobe Indesign looks the way it is built to look. However with Noire I've noticed that some frames do not load onto Indesign and thus these frames are defaulted a solid black colour. I'm not sure if it's Noire or Indesign, but someone has to take the fall.
2. WindowsXP has an option where one can choose to hide or show system files. It doesn't appear as if this feature was built for the Noire, all you see is white text on the probably #cccccc window background colour and the original WXP blue theme image called ShStNoModifyPage.bmp.
3. When you click on the close window button, sometimes the residue of the red remains on the screen. That seems to happen with most 'vista' themes anyhow.
4. You require good amount (512MB+) of RAM in order for this theme to not slow down your system (too much).
Overall it's the best I've seen out there. 4/5

Nice one! And after all, i have both OS - Windows Vista and Windows 7, so i use OD programs only for Vista, and i have give up "seven-like"-styles. Thanks for sharing.

Love this skin. excellent job! Two quick questions for anyone that can help me. In Skinstudio 7, How can I change the text in the titlebar for all windows, so that it is in the center and not to the left. I have tried some settings with no luck. And how do I change the statusbar in firefox to be black instead of white? I'm new to Skinstudio so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks again for this superb skin. Looks fantastic on Win7.

Killasauce, you gotta make sure you change the titlebar text for both uis2 and perpixel sections, usually under Caption (the top frame)

It's a well-executed skin, but it seems awfully generic.
If its generic to your liking, go make your own skin and top this one

It looks so plain in the preview, yet it seems a lot more elegant and creative when actually being used. Subtle describes it perfectly.
