But I cannot tell what kind of job.
I installed it (in 5) but it did not show up on the list.
So I tried my tried-and-true trick, which has worked on all but one skin that's come out since 5 started installing. Here it is: I downloaded the wba file into the EarthWindFire folder and then installed the skin again, over the original install, this time using the WindowBlinds "Install Skin from Disk" feature. The skin now shows up in the list.
However, when I try to click "Install This Skin Now" the writing is outside of the box, superimposing itself upon the taskbar imagery.
When I do install, Windows Explorer croaks -- Goodbye! ("Send Error Report?" Oh, most definitely! Not that sending those things does a lick of good, they're more for the "Okay, Take THAT!" therapeutic value than anything else.) Pretty wall, though! Pure white! I woulda never thought...
Alright: I bought the best computer that anybody sells in this town. I installed the video card that a large number of skinners mention that they use. I put the driver in that's less than a week old. Four gigs of RAM: I can run all the apps I own at the same time (except WB5, which won't load a skin even with nothing else running).
Fifteen hundred bucks later, do you think I ought to roll back to version 4?
Stardock has excluded a third of the applications I use on a daily basis: do they perhaps know something we don't?
