I am perfectly agree with you, to impose the things it is wrong under all the points of view.
This is worth in every civil Nation.
To show our own way of intending the things however it is wrong if publicly done, when it has a meaning "explicit."
The sense "explicit" of the things can be private only (not for all).

Many sites on the browser as dangerous sites are labeled for educational motives.
Have you ever used the parenteral controls?
Some sites are classified as "of occultism content" and you cannot open them for the guardianship of your children.
If many authors began to make skin as this, stardock would risk to enter in this category.
The parenteral controls are an option of the Internet Security more diffused of the world: Symantec.
20 milion of users? .......... may be.
Then you should explane your solution to them, not to me.
I ask you to read what I have anticipated to xscorpx.

it is not one personal point of view of mine.
The Satanism is a crime pursued by the law, in my country and I believe in many, many, many others.
The Satanic rites end with the human sacrifices, my dear.
In Italy, every year they die quite a lot innocent people and no (adolescents) on their altars and many people go in prison.
Seem me, only a little, that you fall from the clouds.
You don't probably remember yourself that the wife of Roman Polansky has been killed, because he has told this thing in one film of his what happens, "Rosemary's Baby ".
Then, that cult is?
I ask it to you!
Hallowin is a tiny joke, they tell me and it doesn't have any similarity.
This is yours, thanks >

For those who are "upset" by it, its simple.
If you dont like it, dont use it.
i love this skin.
Perhaps maybe others from bands like: Deicide, Cradle Of Filth, Darkthrone or Cannable Corpse.
I am a Satanist (or at least consider my self one) and this fits in with my beliefs. Great work and f**k those who dont like it.
Explore life for yourself. Find your own way. Ignor books that preach hate(bible, koran and other books by god). You are a God not some mythical being in a mythical place. And remember "Do What Thou Wilt".

do you know what I don't bear of you?
I ask you a question, because you know............... you believe to make the accounts with the paper in the sleeve in a poker's game.
Which is difference between me and you?
Here I don't bear that you don't know this, because I know it.
Do you know why I know it?
Because I have already won the game!

djefi - Not to be rude, but you're very uninformed.
Satanism is not a crime, in your country or most others. Nowhere in Satanism are human sacrifices called for - stop confusing horror movies with reality.
Lots of innocent people die every year from Satanism, huh? Well at least here in the USA, there has never been a SINGLE murder in the name of Satanism. Compare that with your mainstream religions like Christianity, Islam, etc.
Maybe you should read up on it so you have a clue what you're talking about: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satanism
Or, maybe do a little research and realize that the myth of satanic murder is just another form of blood libel used by one group to discredit another: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_libel
I'm no satanist, but all religious people are deeply misinformed and have no basis or understanding in their own false and stupid beliefs, so doing a little homework will do all of you fools some good.

I'll give a link to the wallpaper later on, since I have the bookmark on another computer. It has been created by a guy on deviantart, don't remember who though, I'll tell ya later...
Concerning the skin, or exactly what it reprensents, I can't stop but laughing for one little thing: People seem upset that this is up on wincustomize and it does the apology of satanism, which is dangerous for kids because satanism symbolizes hatred (oh yeah, and antisemitism it seems as well). I don't see these guys complaining about skins with subjects centered on guns or on how many people you can kill in less than 5 minutes, such as themes on Halo, Doom or Quake...
In a nutshell, a drawing of a goat's head with what seems to be hebrew's characters is bad, but guns and dead bodies everywhere is good. One must love our society...
The funniest thing is: I'm not a satanist, I believe in Jehovah (yes siree bob). I won't state here what I think about established religions, because this is not the place, but to me they all prevent humans from reaching God by creating some sort of pointless hierarchy, and adding dogmas to the bible which are not needed.
The Bible suffices to itself, I don't need someone to tell me don't do this or that, the Bible is just plain common sense (for example: "You won't kill" and easy to understand stuff like that, which all religious guys seem to forget when appropriate...)
I'm not skinning things to hear "Holier than thou" speeches from people I don't know, hidding behind screen names and not knowing who I am. If you can't take the skin, move along and download something else, it's that simple.
As far as I'm concerned, I fail to see where this skin is offending. Except if the hebrew symbols are offending (I didn't even know these where jewish symbols), but I don't think so.
These are just drawings for crying out loud! It reflects the death metal art as it was back in the late 80s early 90s, that's all.
Now to some trivia facts:
Deicide's guitarist is catholic.
Slayer's volcalist Tom Araya is catholic.
As a finishing note, something to think about: If you believe in Satan, you do believe in God. Who would be stupid enough to choose Satan then? The only interesting thing about satanism is the shock value it has (well, less in Europe than in the US it seems). Oh, and Haloween themed skins are far more offending than this skin, since Haloween is a satanist event, do some reserch on that one, so give me a break...
That was a long and boring post wasn't it?
Thanks for all the nice comments and support to all of you!

Oh, that's right, it's about A BAND FROM THE 80's!!!! so maybe you should go give them a call and complain. I'm sure they've heard it all before. Tell me, if an album (which this theme's artwork is based on) offends you as bad as this theme does, do you go to the store and buy it just so you can take it home and complain about it? Doubtful, so if you don't like it don't use it. I don't see anyone protesting the holiday themes. That causes religious conflict right? The funny part about that is those themes are actually directed puposfully toward a religous idea and this theme is just a tribute to a band. I was amazed. I was actually expecting to see this response when the GWARmour theme got posted on the GUIChamps.

As far as the GWARmour (excellent skin) is concerned, I don't see anything that can be misinterpreted. I mean there are no signs of satanism or letters other than Roman ones, it's neat. Moreover, it displays skulls and blood, so you can't go wrong with this kind of design, it's safe, nothing to worry about. Note that I like the GWARmour skin a lot, it is beautifully crafted, I'm just placing it in the context of the thread going on here, that's all.
As of today, this skin rates a whooping 6... come on guys, it can go lower than that! It has a goat' skull in it!

As far as the start button is concerned, there is no other way under WindowsXP for having a large start button but to use glyph image with the start button (or at least that's how I do it, if there is another way, please anybody let me know...). To put it clearly, the chopped start button you see is the actual start button. It becomes "full" when you mouse over it since this event triggers the display of the glyph image, making the start button complete. I've let it as is since I'm thinking forward (Vista), and I'm seriously hoping this OS will allow the use of a big start button without this tricky process, but we'll see then, won't we?
=> So that's not a bug.
