hello, I just downloaded this VS to WindowBlinds. I've noticed that on small windows, such as the AOL Instant Messenger Buddy List window, the WMP and other buttons get in the way. Is there any way I can get rid of these?

well if you know your way around skinstudio, you could edit this blind by deleting the action buttons. I agree that with applications requiring small windows, the action buttons do get in the way, sorry about that.

Love it for my "black" moods.... a variation with a warm colour scheme like ubuntu would be the icing on the cake .... should be at least a 4 star skin.

this is a great skin, it is now the skin i use, as it has by far the best vista adapdation for xp, with the good log off and shut down buttons and not over complecated layout, the only thing extra i would like to see is a compact version (not transparent) without the action button, as i have no use for these buttons but i like the compact style!!!

just got one question for ya tho.is there any way to remove the transparent window button, roll up/unroll window, windowblinds page shortcut & windows media player thingy? its not that its not a good thing to have im just not a fan lol other then that this theme is awesome...
btw for any of you peeps that want a theme that really works well with this theme try Vista Transformation Pack 7.0 it has a few extra parts like log i screens and stuff.
with both these together its hard to tell its not the real deal..
any way man cant wait to hear from you and keep up the good work

Hi ninocass, that's a great question and hopefully this answer will point you in the right direction. Right click on the wb config system tray applet (little icon displayed in the lower right hand corner of your screen next to the time of day) and click on configure windowblinds. Scroll through your list of available wb skins and click once on the Black Vista v3 wb skin. There will be a drop down box to the right & just above the available wb skins, click on the down arrow in that drop down item box and view the substyles available - this is how you view the substyle available for any wb skin (if that skin has additional substyles, not every skin will have this).

The black vista wb skin does have a substyle that doesn't include action buttons so if you want the look of this skin without the addtional action buttons that you were wanting to get rid of, try this: perform the steps above to access this wb skin and it's substyles - one of those substyles that I have created is called "Full No Action Buttons", which means a full start panel menu style with no action buttons on the windowframe, click on that substyle to select it and then click on the link just above that area labeled "Apply this skin" , wait a few seconds and you will have the black vista v3 wb skin with no action buttons on the windowframe area.

Very nice skin, I'm not really a fan of the buttons on the windows making the window transparent ect. but I like the rest, overall it's 9.5/10

Nice visual style. Best i've seen, do you happen to know how to get the scroll bar on
