Thank you, yes it was based on the movie cars but the color of the skin was based on the character Lightning McQueen, but I agree the title is a bit of a mouthful - I'm still a bit of newbie (actually alot!), I'll endeavor to do better on my next one, thanks for the great feedback!

Great skin like it a lot.. bout time somebody embrased doing a bright red skin..
i seem to have a tiny problem with it tho?? when i click the start menu and am looking for a program the system completely crashes to a restart.. was wondering if you were aware of this problem and if/what can be done to fix this glitch... it only does this using this skin... have no problems any other time with any other skins... Keep up the great work...

Hi Justin, don't know what would cause that problem. I never experienced that at all.
This wb has experienced something like 6700+ downloads at this time and you're the only person to report that kind of a problem. I'm stumped. Are you using windowblinds v5.x, it's meant for that version, WB4 may experience problems with it but a system crash sounds like another problem entirely.
It could be the animation in the start panel that is causing your problem but I can't say for sure.
I could remove the animations and email you a version without animation, contact me using the email address shown in my wincustomize site and I'll work on a non-animated version for you. Other than that, I don't know.
Did you download the original version? If so, did you delete it before installing this one? Maybe worth a try, delete this wb theme from windowblinds. Delete the mcqueen skin folder from the windowblinds program folder (you'll have to locate it using windows explorer). Perform a reboot and apply another skin, if you experience no problems using another skin (try finding another wb skin with animations), try downloading & installing this one again. Let me know what happens.

thankyou uncle rob for your reply... it only crashes sometimes... i am using wb5 and i have also noticed sometimes in the start panel the all programs thingy with da wheel spinning sometimes appears up da top of da panel too... but i just close it straight away before it crashes??? i never d/loaded da original skin either?? wot i will try tho is deleting it and re-d/loading it again... i'm pretty new to this skinning stuff but am trying to pick it up so i can too make some terrific skins??? thankyou again and i'll let ya know how i go...

i have deleted da old skin and re-d/loaded it again and it has fixed da restart problem no drama's???
how ever da other small problem with da all programs showimg up at da top of da start menu is still occuring... shouldn't be a problem but i thort i'd let ya know just incase other people are getting that too and are wanting it to be fixed??

Hey Rob; to bring the file size down delete all the .png images before creating the .wba file, once SkinStudio has converted them to .tga the .png are no longer needed. This one has 5 meg of pngs, once deleted and zipped using SkinStudio, it is a 894 KB file. Easiest way is to go to WB folder, right click skin folder and search for .png, select all and delete.

You're awesome Cavan �� - I didn't even know that the .png files were no longer needed, I will definitely do that on my next wb and remove most of the bloat that my wb's seem to be accumulating.

justin, I'm working on updating a few elements in this theme and maybe adding a few substyles (compact, transparent, etc.), when I'm done, I'll email it to you and you can test it out at your end, if it works I might release the updates as v3.0. Thanks again for your help on this. �

thank you Cateeye1965, I love hearing that, this was an early work, my skills have progressed a bit since this was uploaded (at least in my opinion anyways). Hopefully I'll show this in an update to this skin in the future! �
