I think Adama is possibly the best captain I've ever seen... Beats Picard hands down.
So how about some sounds dude? Be cool to have some Cylon effects built in
Great skin, thanks for your hard work.

The grey background change you did in IE for browsing messes with some webpages that use white backgrounds. Here's an example on Netgear's download page for some router firmware... check out the messed up boxes on the left. http://kbserver.netgear.com/products/WPN824v2.asp Anyway, any skin that changes the IE background in the browsing window tends to mess with some sites. Take this out and the skin would be good. Also, you have a very cool "Turn Off" screen, but the "Log Off" screen is the default one. Kinda lame... makes the skin seem unfinished. Gota be through man... |
JRSCCivic98, the 'change' the skin creates on that webpage (and whichever others) is caused by the blind, but if I changed that color to white then that would change the whole 'feel' of the blind. I'm sorry but I'm just not willing to do that. Its just one of those 'quarks' that exist and it doesn't happen on all webpages. So far as the "Turn Off and "Log Off" screens/windows both are the same, I have no idea why yours is coming up different, even the 'non-per pixel' parts of each have been skinned. Check the skin in SkinStudio if you would like. I do not think your problem there has anything to do with this windowblind.
Thanks everyone for your comments

I kind of don't agree with you on the color blind thing. I am using a skin called Chocolate which also has a greyish feel to it. It doesn't change the browsing color from the default and it doesn't pull away from the feel of the overall blind. The grey you picked is so dark that I can't see the menu choices in IE or other apps unless I turn my brightness up. Download that skin (Chocolate) (it's fairly new) and you'll see what I'm talking about.
Still, your skin is nice, but between the "slightly dark" grey you picked and the "super small" font for the start menu, I've had to take it off. Maybe it's personal preference, but that's my feeling on this skin.
