very nice on color, would like to have more transparency, but overall very nice and useable

Hi Glowdark, thanks for the comments.
I hear what you're saying about the transparency, I added it because it seems people like to have transparency in their themes, I just didn't know how much to transparency to add, originally it was practically see through and I was just getting headaches using it and I couldn't upload it like that. I then did the reverse just adding very little transparency so you could just get a hint of what's behind the start panel but not much more, it was easier on my eyes. On my next theme I will create 2 transparency substyles: one with alot of transparency and one with very little as I've used in this theme. What would be nice is if wb included some type of transparency control for the end user applying the finished theme and they could dial in the appropriate amount of transparency that they're comfortable with.

Very nice Vista theme, I do like the colour, always like Blue themes, good idea having two substyles for those who like a bit more transparency. Thanks for download, Jim.

Just had an afterthought..THANK YOU SO MUCH for not forcing that stupid user picture box on everyone..I greatly prefer the clean start panel

the user pic would appear for the winxp home edition users out there, I use winxp pro machines attached to a network domain so the user pane picture doesn't appear on my own skins but it would appear on an xp home user's machine by default. The user pane picture frame used is a vista style square frame - it doesn't look that bad but I agree, I prefer the user pane without it - I'm not sure if you can force xp home not to include the user account pic on the startpanel userpane - I wonder if anyone else would have an answer for that?

Very nice skin!! I too love the shades of blue, it's a very workable skin. I'm using win xp pro on a simple home network & I've got the user pic on my start menu. I'm one of those that does like the user pic but just thought I'd let you know it does default to the user pic on my win xp pro

I've actually been stunned by the response I've rec'd thus far on this theme, on it's first day it rec'd 1400+ dl's - WOW, I've never seen that kind of action on any of the skins I've uploaded to this site - all I can say is thank you very much to everyone who has previewed and/or downloaded this skin - I really appreciate it! �
