I think it's the best ever! I have Vista & it's the first skin that I like better than Vista itself... all that and it's free! Thanks John! The only bad thing is you have to pay to vote for it.�

This is most definitely a 5-star skin. The colors, the textures, the animations... all amazing. A fitting tribute to an amazing show that has, unfortunately, breathed its last. But this will keep it alive for years to come. A masterful outing, VStyler. Thank you.

awesome, just one glitch... the start button keeps flickering.... maybe its cuz im on vista or smt and this skin was made more for XP or something... cuz maybe it overlapped the vista taskbar and the normal vista start button is glitching behind it???

looks really nice but for some reason sometimes my start menu has a long cut out piece in center of it(shows the desktop behind it) and the top half of menu just flashes and flickers.in other words the animation is all screwed up.i have windows xp pro and windowblinds 5.1.this only happens about half the time though,any ideas?

Im afraid I have no idea why that happens on your system other than perhaps Video card or Video driver issues.

This is very nice, looks great even on Vista. Very professional looking. The black is light enough that it's easy to see and the animation is not overdone. I'll be using this one for a while.

Keep in mind people....that WindowBlinds 5.5 supports the skinning of Vista...but not all skins are going to work. The vast majority of your favorite skins are going to need updates to work with Vista.

I must say, this is excellent graphic work, and the animations are very smooth and well done. I love how you did the window buttons, and the start menu is totally pimp. The only problem I have with this skin is that it's not very functional. (Not very readable) Dark text on a dark background contrasted with white window background doesn't work well in any skin, at least thats my opinion. Everyone doesn't seem to be bothered by it, but it drives me nuts. I can hardly read alot of the text in alot applications that don't use light colored fonts for the toolbars, etc. For example, in Firefox, all my toolbars and bookmarks on the top display black text, and when you rollover them they become even more unreadable because the highlighted button is black too. Even the 'post comment' button below is black with black text. Very annoying. As a skinner, I can understand the frustration of being limited in that way, but that is just the way many applications work. It would be nice if WindowBlinds could actually control every element that it is supposed to in every application, but that is just not the case. Besides, the brown background is not very appealing, at least to me it isn't. I think a lighter color, even a gold hue, would do this skin wonders, and still look great. You could even just add in a subskin. Anyway, thats just my opinion. If you think it's fine, then don't change it.
