I could definitely whip up a wallpaper (it would be my first wallpaper submission to the site but it would be worth just because you requested it) to match the bootskin & logon, when it's ready I will leave a link here in the comments section.
The wallpaper shown in use in the screenshot is blueness by skinhit but he has recently removed alot of his work from this site for some reason - I still haven't heard why but you can find alot of his great work (he is a wallpaper wizard and an expert in using bryce software to create his masterpieces), I'm pretty sure you can find his work on skinartistry.com

I'm ok I guess - still learning with each new wb and they can all be much better,
- if you want really good, how about danilloOc, mike bryant, jjying, essorant, treetog, stardock design's stuff - that's the really good stuff
I still have quite a ways to go, if I'm lucky one day I'll get close that level!

I usually increase the width of my taskbar which is usually on the bottom by doubling it. However when that happens, sometimes the start button gets cut off. I resize the taskbar (drag it down & make it smaller) so that it's just it's default thickness at the bottom. When I do that, the start button appears properly again.
Also try moving the task bar to other locations (to the left, right, top of the screen, and back again to the bottom) to force the start button to be redrawn again - I find this is another way to "wake up" windowblinds to draw the start button properly again.
If that doesn't work, try applying the windows xp classic theme (usually at the beginning of your wb skin list) and then apply this theme again.
One thing I didn't ask is do you have the windowblinds full version, if you're using the trial version it could be a limitation of the trial version vs. the full version. Also what version of windowblinds are you using? This skin is meant for WB5, I don't know if previous versions supported the oversized start button.
Try these and let me know how it works out.

Blue ICE is a lighter colored skin and as such the blue ice (or baby blue as some may see it) may not be everyone's favorite and I'm sure the rating reflects that as well. I have a few darker skins in the works as well (and a few more lighter colors as well), I want to develop a gallery of wb's that will have enough different colored clean & crisp usable styles to suit most everyone.

If you can't run those and get them to work, the problem may not be with the windowblind itself, possibly something else on your system preventing these effects from working.
Also what version of windowblinds are you using? My wb's are created for version 5 & up which supports the use of transparency, oversized start button, glow buttons, etc.
Are you using this on a vista machine or a winxp machine?
What would help is if you could post your wb config info.
Open up windowblinds, click on View My System Info, and copy & paste the info here. At least we could verify the version you're using, the kind of video card, etc. Also check out the section "override default settings", it could be that you may have accidentally set up wb to ignore the taskbar & startmenu defined by this skin and to use another setting instead.
Lot's of reasons why this problem could be happening on your pc and I've tested this wb on several winxp machines and also a vista ultimate machine, so I know this wb works.

- I wouldn't say this is the best skin (there are quite a few skin authors on this site that I admire alot and aspire to be like some time in the future) but I would definitely say that your comments are one of the best I've ever rec'd, thank you very much for taking the time to leave feedback. I'm glad you liked it. Working on these windowblinds is very rewarding when you hear great people like yourself provide that kind of encouragement - I literally want to dive into working on my next wb after reading what you wrote. Thank you for making my day!!!
