How 'bout we head back to the part about COMMUNITY! I trying to following some of these judgments to their logical conclusion.....there isn't any.
Everyone can have an opinion but the delivery sucks here for a few. Seems to me I just leaped in here recently to defend one of the above folks because some DOOOOFUSS called his skin a foul name. I didn't have any problem at all with the guy's opinion but he sure didn't have any concept of contributing anything to the process. Surprised to see the guy who got nailed with his nail gun out.
If we keep judging, we are going to have about 2 'perfect' presentations a month and not much else. Personally, I would rather see a bunch of folks in the process of getting it 'right'.

Yet i have expressed clearly my feelings to Chris's style and he accepts it for what it is...my opinion.A strong critique is preferable I would think to any skinner than endless 'good job' comments.
A 'community' that cant accept that is just a bad enabling support group.
Sorry we hijacked your comments Chris.IF...I insulted you somehow, please accept my opinions for what they are...my opinions.(damn thse durn meds)

Wincustomize is not- as far as I'm aware (I didnt get a memo) a non-minimal skin site. Its a site for all types of Windowblinds. I think its a bit rich for people to slate a nice piece of work purely because its not their scene. So what if it doesnt have mouseovers? Maybe suggest including them next time- maybe its just not in the creators vision of what he wanted the skin to look like- maybe some people dont want all the bells and whistles on every single skin! People put their skins up on here to share their work and get constructive criticism, not to be abused and tiraded against... Frankly many of you's words are pretty offensive and downright obnoxious.
I like this skin. I agree that some extra touches would be nice (mouseovers, vista version for me!), but even as it is it is a lovely piece of work and frankly yes its refreshing to see such work on this site. Nothing wrong with a bit of variety. The skin has obviously taken a fair bit of work and been thought through aesthetically. It's not just another by the numbers slight variation on Vista or the old royale themes with a few shiny reflections for good measure.
I like minimal skins. I like complex and intricate skins too. I dont like rude people who want to impose their own small-mindedness on other people. There is a difference between constructive criticism and petty small-mindedness, rude posturing and sheer obnoxiousness.

After reading all the comments, there were only about 2 or 3 comments that were constructive. Most of them were "hate comments".
So here is what you do for next time. If you ever upload anything again.
Don't upload anything that "you" like and want to share freely with everyone.
Only upload skins that everbody else wants and the way they want them skinned.
Remember, never do what you want. Always follow the crowd.
Sarcasm can be used as a tool! Just make sure my back isn't turned when you use it.

*raises hand, jumps up and down....
Oh....I could break out the dictionary and go to town on this...but, ....
hahahahahahaha..... Count me in for speeding thru the marina!! Truth be told, and it already has been...... NO ARTIST CAN GROW WITHOUT CRITICISM. Take it or leave it.
Rock the boat eh? I love it....some think that's all I come here to do... sad.
As far as the skin goes....so as to not get too far off topic. To each their own. I don't really see anything in this skin to comment about really.

If you think those were constructive, they weren't. All they did was make certain people look a bit pompous.
Thanks for the wb chris.
