Thanks for the update IR, remains one of my favorite skins of all time. I'm still on XP so I wasn't UnKnotted, but nice to have the extra variations and know that I've got a Win7 version if I ever cough up for it. I know you went through a ton of trouble doing this and I appreciate it.

I'm on Windows 7. I've tried both methods and still have only 37. I must be missing a step somewhere.

Greg, Those are the Windows 7 presets. The rest of the presets are for Vista and XP. All you did was replace the Vista/XP presets with the W7 ones. You did it right.

haha,Greg found the weaknes in my plan...yes,there will never be more than 37 at once...is either XP and Vista colours or Win7 colours.
65 subs at once made WBconfig take about 2 minutes to load the thumbnails.
To all...thank you...I'm tired.

Dunno why but I can't get the win7 thing happening.. notepad is driving me even more insane than normal. I guess I'll just have to wait for the fully assembled version.

Grump you have a pm.Unless I come up with a better way to split 65 subs, and I spent a whole 2 days trying, this is the best way.Its pc basics 101.Open 2 text files in notepad, copy the contents from 1 to the other and save.
Trust me...its better than all 65 being in there at once...WBconfig takes too long to generate that many thumbnails.I made a version that had 39 and I got sick of waiting on it everytime.
You can even just rename Knot Aero7.WBO7 by removing the 7 and use it to replace the original. You dont even have to backup the original(Knot Aero.WBO7)because the contents of Knot AeroXPV.WBO7 are the default settings. They are just in there in case you lose the original.
Its JUST colour files...no matter which WBO7 file you run,you still have ALL the main styles for ALL the OS's.9 of them.If dealing with notepad is somehow difficult...just load one of the Vista ones to look at and transfer the settings manually as tho you were making your own color presets.
Or just invent your own.

Yup...It's the notepad that's giving me grief. I gave up on this but thanks for the response. Sometime in the future when I'm more ambitous I'll re-install and play. What I need is a "Knot Aero for Dummies" version.

You could even delete the Knot Aero.WBO7 files and there would still be ALL 9 major styles...just no colour presets.
To youse udder guys...thanks a bunch...dont use anything else til I finish the next one. harharhehe.

Grump,if I had one with all 65 already on it I would send it to you...what is there is what I have...I knew this might affect a few people but I got carried away adding subs and had to get creative.
I tried splitting the whole thing into seperate Windowblinds but they got messed up in the process and the download would have been 15mb. ouch.
Any text editor would do I think...what about wordpad?Or just do the renaming bit...explorer can rename any file.
Just delete the original and rename Knot Aero7.WBO7...just lose the 7.(the first 7...not the last)
