Bevel was just a general term i used that once u add inner shadows, bevels, inner glows etc.. applies to the thickness of the image borders...For example, once everything is added.. your start menu border top edge is 6 pixels. I know exactly how much of what you have there, been doing this a loong time. Trust me, u can go lower..I used to reply similarly when I first started out..when folks would tell me to lay off on the bevel it's to be expected, I didn't think i could go smaller either. But I did. Its your choice of course, your skin, but imo its a little overdone by todays standard\styles. 2 pixels thesedays.. is 1 or 2 too much. Especially on something as small as a titlebar button. Don't take it negatively, I think you show promise, just trying to lend a little guidance is all. Check out some of MikeB's, Dani's or my skins and you'll perhaps understand where I'm going with this. Good luck man.

WOW WOW WOW WOW! That start button\menu is Really cool. I didnt even think that would be possible. I would never think of something like that! Very creative and the rest is phenominal as well. Very nice skin!
