Very nice skin. A couple of quick things to check.. The Start Button needs a shift 1 pixel north. It doesn't align correctly. Match your hieghts on your top frame Maximized image to your UIS 2 top frame image height. The maximized title bar is showing a space between the windows and the top frame image. Tweek your text margins in the start panel left side. The text overlaps a tad. Great "reflection" work. The taskbar might benefit tremendously by giving it the reflective highlight you used throughout the skin.

Nice job!!! I think you should enable the check box "this image has an alpha channel"in a couple of places.Butons,check boxes,radio buton,taskbar buttons they all had a black non-trans. boreder for me but after enabling all is well!

I don't suppose you would consider making this work with xp? it's a beautiful skin and I would like to use it , and have some great ideas for reviews for it.

I don't mean to be critical like some here, but, it looks absolutely great on my XP ! If those others don't like the skin perhaps there's a another that they prefer. Very nice ! Thank you.

thanks for everyones comments. Night Train and AVman, thankyou for the comments on how I can improve/fix. I am certainly continuing to build on this. I don't have a machine with XP on it so it is hard to adapt it.

Gillon you have some good talent and this skin is a very good come back. Few tweaks as NT and AV Man have described. But other than that works well and is well designed. Awaiting your fix and the updated version! GT

I have opened your skin in sks to try to help you with the max caption issue and have found the solution the problem.
The image you were using was pretty small, so I resized the image to almost double (174x80) and bingo, the space disappeared! I have uploaded the image to imageshack in .png format so you can click on the link here and save the image to your pc. new max caption
You'll also notice that I omitted the rounded corners on the sides as they don't show up on a maxed caption anyway.
