Yes I did read their comments, so... they're just words. I'm not saying it was the correct way to show their displeasure of the skin, all I am saying is we don't have to respond back by bashing them (even if they do deserve it), all you're doing is getting down to their level instead of being above it. �

I havent looked at the skin as it isnt my style (not a brown person) however - I'm rather shocked at the unpleasantness. I fully uphold someone's right to say they don't personally like a skin, but abuse just simply isnt called for... Nobody deserves such mean put downs... Carry on hun, ignore the childred

People all one person said was "like shit" the other was asking where he (using digital-truckers own words) "prettify" things, hell it took me a little time to see the things digital_trucker "prettify" myself. If y'all are bothered by these words so much so that you think it's abuse then man y'all need to get out more often and toughen your skin,damn. �

I'm not saying that you don't respond just that you don't respond as negitive as they do. I had some comments written about one of my wb skins on DA that were worst than these and I didn't bash them in my responses, they never wrote anything else. There's this old saying (from the movie Field of Dreams) "If you build it, they will come" well I take that and say "If you ignore them, they will go away". Peace ��

Ofcourse I'm not gonna download this piece of shit. And as u've seen me as a member since August 10th, it doesn't mean that I'm a new guy. The fact is that, before signing up as a member, I have been around on this website for years, seeing and using things that are much better than yours. I also have my skins but they are not for showing off. I don't say they're shiny but they're something that I have put my soul to work on. They are my sentiment, not for comparing with any others. And you, a member from Nov 11, 2002 but PERHARPS it's just qualified for the long period you've got, not for the things you've made. The way I see it, it doesn't count for anything. No matter your time here or experience. you have the right to offer a criticism based on the merits of the skin. But this should be done with tact and class, as insults and abuse tend to start flame wars instead of being constructive. Abusive drive by comments like some of the ones ive seen so far, IMO are nothing more than bait for a fight. As it is possible to actually offer constructive criticism without being inflammatory. 
Please take note: Being insulting and derogatory will only get you a short trip to the door.

people, everyone has a right to express his/her opinion on any skin submitted to the site but that opinion is expected to given with a bit of respect to the artist and with a bit of tact. if you don't care for a particular submission, feel free to say so but saying it's a "piece of shit" is not showing any respect for anyone, including the person who said it. i guess the best way to express an opinion would saying what you'd say if the person was face to face with you. unless you absolutely hate the person, you wouldn't use the term "piece of shit" to his/her face. in today's world of internet of internet communication, i guess people have forgotten how to be polite and express their displeasure with a submission.
