I really like this skin but the close button does not work when using Photoshop. I open a file to work on and then try to close using the close button and have to go to file close. Running on Win7 64 bit. The close button works to close out of Photoshop but not within the program itself.(

Really? I tested it without per pixel frames and it worked. I've checked and rechecked it to make sure things are correct. I will keep looking into it, neophil78. I just don't understand why it's doing this for you.

Well, i'm on XP SP3 and my settings in WB Control panel (latest verion of course ) are those: - in "settings", "do not use per pixel frames even if the skin supplies them" - in "XP specifics", "never use per pixel frames on a skin"

N.B 1: tried it on several XP machines with same WB settings and trouble is the same N.B 2: is the fact that active / inactive states are not completly defined may have something to do with ?

Okay, I figured it out this time. It wasn't the buttons at all...it was the caption margins. Try it now and let me know.

Damned, still the same trouble ( I also tried different things and settings in the .uis file and can't find the way to fix it. One thing i'm just sure is that SkinStudio IS NOT SAVING things as it should (ex RollupSize ==> you may give any value in SkinStudio, the value you set is not saved - you can see it by opening the .uis in a text editor - and i beleive it's the same for other features ... )

I'm sorry, neophil78. At this point I'm at a total loss. I applied this thing a few times to my kid's XP machine, making sure I checked to not use per pixel frames through Windowblinds, and at first I could duplicate the problem you were having, I changed the Caption margins in UIS2 frames so that its 17 for left margin, and 0 for right margin (giving full access of the right side of the title bar for the button) and that fixed the issue on his computer. I saved those changes and made the .wba file and uploaded it with the change.

I'm at a total loss. I wonder if it might have something to do with monitor resolution, which is something that I am unable to check, as every monitor in my household is a standard 17 inch monitor.

Mine is in 1280 x 1024 BTW, what i can't stand is how it can't work on my XP PC's as it works on yours ... Which WB version are u using ? (mine is version 7.01 build 81 dated january 13 2010) - I'm also using Explorer Backgrounds (which means i checked "emulate transparency support for explorer backgrounds" in "XP specific" settings in additional to "never use per pixel frames on a skin" & "enable if you have corrupted tittle bars buttons & texts backgrounds")

I"m using WindowBlinds 7.01 build 235 on my Windows 7 computer, and I can't get the XP machines right now because the kids are busy in their rooms right now, but it they're older builds -- from back in November without updates. The resolution for the XP versions they're using is 1024 x 768. Just out of curiosity, why do you have the "never use per pixel frames" checked? Per pixel frames are so much easier to skin and look better in my opinion than the UIS2 frames.

Just to be able to add "sounds" on buttons (which is impossible with per-pixel frames - still don't know why in fact ...) Anyway, i just tried some other very recents WB skins coming with XP, Vista and 7 substyles and no problem at all with no one with the close button in the XP substyle (with same settings in WB off course) ... Don't know what's may be going wrong with yours (

UPDATE 3 - 02/12/2009 - Thanks goes out to Jazzymjr for helping me correct the UIS2 close button. I believe I have this corrected completely now. For those of you having this problem, uninstall the old version before you download this update. Thanks.
After uninstalling the WB + deleting the previous .WBA file, the "close button" trouble is still there under XP SP3 with substyle XP with "never use per pixel frames on a skin" (latest WB version V 7.01 build 82 (same on three XP machines with same settings and same WB version)
