i can't get any of these work. when i try to import the files this text appears: error importing skin file. Possible causes are a corrupt skin file, or a read only skin file. can someone plz help me so that i would get this thing working. i have tried to re-download the files but that didn't help.

Romppa, I was having the same problen so I changed the files to open with .zip prog and they all worked.

Romppa. Download WinRar. Then open winrar find were the boot file is and click on it. When you do this it opens in winrar like a zip file. find the files and make a folder in the bootskin folder in themes. That should do it.

P.S. for those who are having problems geting BootSkins themes to work : I simply use Total Commander, click a few times on theme I downloaded, open it to the last folder ( usually ), and then move that folder into my "?:\Program files\stardock\wincustomize\bootskin\skins" dir and that's it ! Hope it helps somebody !

the font is a jazz font that comes with the program finale. My band director in high school gave me a copy of it. Its great if you like to compose music on your computer. He gave it to me to reenter some old scores that needed updating.

Doh! Can't get this one to work. I've gotten other bootskins to work, but when I try to open this this one with winrar I get:

I have no idea whats wrong. If you haven't already tried installing it using the actual bootskin program, look to the messaggeboards for help

its funny and all but its just too plain for my liking. and i AM a huge simpsons fan by the way.

about the plainness. I left it plain because the colors show up sharp because right now bootskin only supports 16 colors. And soon as the colors increase to at least 256 the white backround shall become more simpsonfied.
