This kind of work is so much your style! Awesome!
If you are still unemployed, I think Stardock should have you in their future plans.

Cheers Gsmoke, I just made and uploaded another killer style wallpaper that I created specifically for housing all these dx doodads, they seem to gel together better on it.

Leave it to Tiggz to revolutionize a DX calendar. The worst thing about DX, you can't highlight more than one object and change it's text properties...gotta do it one by one. Themes built right in...it's plain genius. You deserve a medal or maybe a small statue... LOL

Was looking forward to this, but getting some strange behavior. Previous/next year doesn't work right get a month full of 7's and 30's, or a partial month full of 18's and 24's (for April 2005), for example. Also, going back two months to Feb. 2004 just gives me a 31 in the upper left corner, rather than a month full of dates. Any ideas what's going on? Otherwise, love this stuff. Thanks

jimmy_c - uhoh, I better hurry up and make the appointments version or you might get in trouble
hehe, thanks Hus - cash in a plain brown envelope will do just fine
thankyou jord043
Mitchell, boo at the vagaries of dx. First thing is to check you have the latest build of desktopX. If it''s still problematic, start a new, blank, theme and load the object into that. I was working on, and using this object for a number of weeks before I uploaded it and have to admit I never saw anything like you are describing. Does it happen on every preset or is there a specific one that is causing troubles? Earlier in the development cycle I was using a particular font that appeared to interfere with the object, and had to conclude that some fonts are "bugged" in some way, at least as far as dx is concerned. I am currently using the same version of the calendar that is available for download and after reading your comment, have given it a damn good workout, pushing the navigation buttons in a frenzied manner etc, it all appears to be working ok.
Anyway, let me know how you get on...

Hey InsensitivePoet - can I ask, do you have the registered version of desktopX? and the latest build? are you running XP? does it happen on any particular preset settings or is it universal? any other info about your setup would be helpful in trying to identify this problem, thanks.

Yes, my DX is registered. I"m running Win XP on 1.5 gig ram. This is the only object that doesn't work correctly. I have the latest build of DX.

Running 2.10, unregistered. Tried loading into a new theme, with just the calendar running, and had the same problem bad dates, a week of Mondays (which is a horrifying thought), etc. Doesn't matter which font I use or which mode (transparent, inset, normal). This is the only item I have this problem with. Any ideas? I'd say perhaps registering my DesktopX might be a good idea, but Insensitive Poet is having the same problem with a registered version.

Thanks.

ok - I uninstalled dx and installed version 2.1 and loaded the object. I got the same problem as is being described by Mitch. Therefore I should state that desktopX version 2.19 is required to use this object.
To InsensitivePoet - in Stardock Central you need to click the view menu and make sure "show pre-release versions" is checked, the list should then show dx ver 2.19

as an adjunct to my previous comment, when I tried to reinstall the 2.19 build over the top of the 2.1, I encountered a few problems. In the end I had to uninstall dx and then install the latest beta version which is (at the time of writing) 2.19a[b].002
I am happy to report that my calendar is once again fully functional.
I hope this is your solution too InsensitivePoet
