Dock on the right would be cool, but its not bothering me at all on the left. Very cool! I havent had time to try EVERYTHING yet, but what I see so far it is incredible. Thanks for the great work.

Just had an idea, (actually, it was my dad, of all people, who came up with it) how about you add a "To-do list" into the dock, or is there a way I can do that myself?

Don't know what is up with the calculator. We do look forward to your update on parking this on the right-side. We believe it will be a part of our desktops for a very long time.

Cerebro, you can put other objects into the sections, but it's a bit tricky, especially as it stands. With so much script interdependancy the object can flounder if you try and edit the dock portion seperately. I have fixed this in the ongoing updated version on my desktop, and it will be easier to put your own objects into the dock.

Firedogs, you click on the blue part of the calculator then use the numpad (with numlock on) to tap in numbers and generally calculate stuff

Tiggz, nothing happens when we click (single or double on the blue part of the calculator.

After you click there, use the number pad on your keyboard to enter numbers. The function keys are /,*,-,+ for divide, multiply, subtract and add respectively. enter key says *do the calculation*

goodmorphing,

Well, I did get a little action not too much into function keys. Something happen causing DesktopX 2.2.027 needing to close. That was not fun.

Thanks for responding though, but I'll just use my desk calculator.

It causes DesktopX to crash on my PC. I had a hard time removing it too, but I finally got rid of it. Is DesktopX 2.1 enough to run this?

Really great object! That said, what I would like to see. The new and improved media objects in your K-Media incorporated into this object and make them start up automatically as the default player, instead of WMP when clicking on a streaming media link.

Tiggz, this is an awesome object! I hope you don't mind if I make some suggestions?
1. Allow for components of the dock to be removed/added.
2. Allow for more than 4 subitems in each Shortcuts area
3. In auto-hide mode, make a "tab" stick out a bit (does that make sense?)
4. As many people have said, allow for right aligning!

Thanks for and keep up the great work!!

Holy mother of all DX objects!! EXELLENT work.. you never fail to exced my expectations.. just one little sugestion, can you make it so that the calendar also has a todo list.. it kinda sucks having to run rainlendar just to use the todo list..hmm.. or i could use the todo object you did also but.. it wont quite match the look plust it'd be nice to have it all on the dock. Great work man and I'm looking forward to the update

Yes, GaryM, 2.1 is supposed to run this fine but my DX crashes like crazy when I try to load this and then my Norton Anti Virus tells me "Malicious Script detected". I'm using version 2.2 btw.

Tiggz, pweeeeeeeese go over this with a fine toothed comb. Its probably the best dock I've seen and I can't even use it! I'm gonna go cry in the corner now...

Weesa, many of the objects that are scripted will give a Norton warning. Whenever you get one of those read the information it is showing you. If it names the object you are wanting to install then it is just the usual norton warning that some new scripting something is trying to install. It is safe to authorize because you know what it is (the information will name the object). That is why norton has that choice... to authorize something. It is the hang up over authorizing the script that is probably causing the crash.

goodmorphing, I've loaded quite a few scripted items and not one except for this one is giving me errors with Norton so far. So I tried authorizing the script for all future runs and restarting. Although Norton doesnt give me the error message after this and the dock actually loads up, DX still crashes when I try to add/change anything in the shortcut sections.

Weesa, the shortcuts in this object are not designed to be editted manually. To reconfigure a shortcut button, press and hold it down for 2 seconds and a series of dialogs will take you thru the process of changing the shortcut. I have an update brewing that will enable you to add/remove/edit manually items in the various sections but until then I am afraid you are stuck with using the automatic built in scripted method of changing the shortcuts.
