jayone - I bet you're using XP aren't you? I use 98SE, and I think that is causing some probs for XP users who use my themes. Suggestion: change the attributes of the 'Start' button by selecting a different dxstart plug-in, is there a diff one for XP? If that doesn't work, try using your regular 'Start' button, whatever you use for your XP themes, but use the hydra start panel.bmp panel for 'Appearance'? Hope that helps

Hey, it's a great theme but I am having the same trouble getting the start menu to work with XP. I didn't see another start menu plugin. Can you explain how to use the regular start bar with with hydra start panel for appearance. Thanks. Great theme though.

Use the DXStartMenu.dll plugin from the Innerspace Start menu object, (or just use the Innerspace Start menu object). The plugin that is currently associated with the theme won't work with XP unless you use the classic start menu option.

I love the theme it's unobtrusive and functional, yet still looks great.

thnx eric, you explained that better than I could've

it seems that anyone using any of my themes who has XP will have similar probs, so I'll include your comments in any future themes which use the same 98 plug-in if that's OK, cheers

Great theme, easy to work with and easy on the eyes. Do you have a recommended Window blinds theme? Oh yeah, i'm running this at 1600x1200 and it still looks great. (just needed to move things around a bit)

Just an update, I found that 'BLAKKY', the windowblinds theme goes great with this theme. Give it a shot!

I think this is one of the best themes there is. It's great to have all the icons you want and be able to see the wallpaper that you want tot look at fully.

Cool design,
but my system tray icons are not inside the systraypanel.
Can anyone help? Thanks

you need to select the systray icons by right-clicking by them - be careful you do not select the panel by mistake! - and and change the X-position value until the icons are inside the panel. Also, ensure that the icons have the panel identified as the Parent. That should do it

This theme works and looks great, except on the taskbar it seems like only the text and icon are clickable which makes it annoying to switch between apps. Is there a fix to this?

Edit: Ah, I found a work-around. If anyone else is having this trouble, right click the desktop, go DesktopX > Show Objects (Object browser). Scroll around til you find the taskbar one, make sure it's the one that highlights the items ON the desktop. Go under States, and set a shadow. You can make Darkness 0 if you don't want it visible, like I did. This way the shadow, even though invisible, creates an area for you to click on other than the pixels of the text and the icons.

Takes a lot of tweaking to get how you like it, but a great theme overall.
