i love this one, its great. however i can't seem to get the buttons above System and Media to do anything. i know the Programs button works, i just cant seem to make the other two do anything. other than that its perfect, and i love it. any help with the two little prob's im having would be great! thanks!!

First, let me say thankyou to everyone that has downloaded this as well as my other themes. almost at the 14,5 mark which, for someone like me who is just a novice at this, is pretty good any way you look at it.

To danillo: thanks man, i've been seeing a lack of orange out there...got the inspiration from a furniture design magazine of all places

To magis: the theme is wallpaper-dependent so, at the moment, the only resolution it will work in is 1280 by 1024. if there is interest like with Minimalistic Avocado i could adjust things for other resolutions. Email me with inquiries.

To joe: glad you like it i'm very pleased by the way this one turned out. except for the orange... *mutters glaring at it* other than that, i've finished the final release and will be uploading it soon but as it takes a while for Wincustomize to update if you send me an email i can send it to you.

As a side note: i have been pondering opening up things to accept ideas to those who want customized themes. if there's any interest drop me a line with what you have in mind and i'll see if we can't work something out.

Stay tuned for more to come in the near future (the final release of Graphic Beige v2.0 and Zygotic Impressions v1.0)

Looks really good from the prievew, but I would enjoy a 1024 x 786 version, considering that is the highest resolution that my monitor supports.

awesome idea, great look. however, you take out a lot of realestate with the OS info.. it doesnt havet o be sitting there starting at you constantly, and that big.. generally, you know what your computer is

designcaddy: thanks for commenting. download and you'll see that you can toggle the system information on and off to your heart's content.

as a side note: i now have three versions of this theme already released. this, which now includes a remote desktop with time and weather information with a 'minimize windows' button and a calendar. the three are Professional Apple, Ocean, and the current one Citrus.

swing by deviantArt to check them out at www.deviantart.com/deviantion/9737803

Great great theme. I love it to bits. I have customized the colours to make a blue colour-scheme but its great. I have a problem though. I live in Doncaster, United Kingdom. When I change the weather location it works for a while, but then it comes up saying it's an invalid zip-code. Type Doncaster,England to see what happens. Any suggestions?

jamesdee: i have the same problem as you with the script 'forgetting' the location. i'm not sure exactly why but i guess that it loses the txt file that it keeps the zip in. what it does from what i tell, is that it creates a persistentstorage to store the information and unfortunately ever so often it forgets as i said. mayube ss goku could tell you more as i didn't create the script.

in any case, i'm glad you love the theme and as side note, i have created three versions of this theme (orange, red and aqua). if you're interested the link is http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/9737803 . all three are combined into a zip file for download and contain a remote desktop feature and calendar.

hope you enjoy and please check out my other themes. thankyou

This is the most original theme that has been produced for Desktop X in a long time.

It's nice to see that skinners can think of something other than a bar at the left and a bar at the bottom.

Well done!

It shouldn't be too hard to convert into a resolution independent theme.

Gotta agree with Sol below - This is the kind of interface I've always wanted to be developed using DesktopX

Now I've got to work on customising it for my laptop

The interface is great! I just wish that it would work on my laptop at 1024x768.
