This is by far the best theme that I have yet seen . I like the effects, I like the thought behind the layout, I like the layout.
Its GREAT!!

Its a superb Theme!!! However, I have 2 questions...

1) No matter wich option I choose, for some reason my objectdock bar stays behind the theme taskbar... even if I choose "allways on tom" it will hide behind the bar. Any sugestions?

2) When I have some app's minimized to the taskbar and a change occurs (example: browser finished loading something, or a new mesage arrives to my chat window) the taskbar flashes. That's nice and important BUT... it only flashes twice!
If for some reason I do not pay attention to the bar when it flashes I will never know of the changes. Is there any way I can increase the flashing time or, at least, set it in such a way that the minimized icon will keep a different color?

Thank you

Salomao

Salomao, 1) Works on every system I've tested it on. But if you want to hide the theme taskbar altogether, press F10.
2) There is no way to adjust the theme to do what you ask. It has nothing to do with the theme. There are certain limitations to the Taskbar object within DesktopX.

K, try this again-

I read that you download and extract it. The thing is, all of my desktop x themes are 1 file. Also, extract it to the themes folder correct?

Object Dock work, for Salomao: Had the same problem with the basic dock at bottom. But: It would usually ( if set right) display "on top" the task bar if you just click on the Object Dock background ( rather than an icon) ..and then stay there. However: I finally moved my small basic dock to the right side, center.. and placed the tabbed dock at bottom. (moving it from top..where it looked ok, but interferred with the extended weather display) The Tab bar sets just above the task bar and "on top" the uptime panel. (GT3 Tabs background looks made for it..and the colors fit in very nicely) Of course: you need Object Dock plus). The overall effect with the GT3 wallpaper and WB is stunning.

This is excellent work. The amount of time that went into it is staggering but it shows. Thank you for sharing this with the world.

Outstanding work! The detail into what you've created is amazing! It is truely a work of art! I'm using it with D. Arnaez's Cryo64 WindowBlinds. I think it's a nice blend myself. I also LOVE the higher resolution capabilities. I run at 1600x1200 so it takes a ton of work to get most DesktopX themes to run well! Thanks SO much for the support ! I am having one tiny bit of trouble, I like to see my recycle bin, and when I set the DX theme to show desktop Icons, they are only visable when I deactivate the themes wallpaper. Any ideas?

Sbnelson, I didn't include a recycle bin object in the theme. There are many recycle bin widgets that could be used with the theme that would look good I think.

for sbnelson: Try a Widget, DX object..or Object Dock recycle bin setup. There are also many Sysmetrix options. Tiggz' Cabal recycle bin Widget is a recent one I can recommend. My Recycle bin with this theme is on a small basic dock. You can do that with a clear background, and many choices of full/empty png's to choose from..so you can have a solitary Recycle bin indicator if you wish. Lot of ways to get there.

I must concur with all the congrats above. This is a fabulous theme and I must admit, the only one I've downloaded and used since I've had OD!

Asked some questions above (that have not been addressed, but I'm being patient )

I tried pushing F10 to get rid of the taskbar so it would just show my windowblind, but it does not seem to work.
Is there an order to do this to make it work?

I would love to always show the top half, but the windowblind function works better for me (and you are right it looks great with Stealth OS!!)

thanks!!

One question to add: Is there any way to hide the taskbar altogether just so the windowblind shows?
I love this theme but I miss the functionality of using the shortcuts in my taskbar and also being able to get things back if they minimize (like my media player-after minimizing, I can't get it back!)

A toggle button (like you have for the wallpaper) would even be great, that way you could switch.

I love this theme and want to continue to use. If this change could be made, I doubt it would ever come off (that is until you make another creation- )
