Brilliant!!! Very nicely done and clearly organized. Great combination of eye candy/functionality. This will be on my desktop for a very long time to come. One of the best DX themes to date.

I do have one question though and it's probably something in DX I haven't figured out yet but when I open a window with this theme, the window always opens to a maximized state. Right now I am having to restore the window to a sized state everytime I open the window. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for this theme Chad and for obviously putting so much time and effort into it. This should be one of Stardock's promotional/marketing leads for this product IMHO only

Wet, I think some of the icons I had set to maximized. Change the Shortcut from Maximized to Normal and that should do it.

This looks really nice! I love the fact that one is not limited to a certain resolution.

But, how do you install desktop x themes? Should this get it's own folder?

Thanks!

also- I read download and extract, but extract where? There are a ton of files in that folder. In my main Desktop X folder, there are just theme files.

Chadamus I am very happy to see a skin for 1024 x 768. Horray, they are so rare these days. Unfortunately, I cannot see the category trays or tabs. Does anyone have any ideas about what I might to make them appear? I can seen the in the object list and the x y coordiates suggest they are within the boundaries of my screen dimensions. What could be the problem? I am running version 2.40f(a)on a Dell Latitude D600 notebook at 1024 x 768 with an ATI RADEON 9000 display adapter.

Placebo, move your mouse over to the very left side of the screen. After a very small moment, the tabs should appear. Click on the tab you would like and the tray will open.

Chadamus. I tried that several times. Leaving the cursor there for as long a minute with no response. Perhaps I have a hardware problem of some sort.

Ooooh. Found the Lauch trays.. were there all the time. Thanks Chad, for the obvious in the comment above. Changed my Object dock commented on above to put basic dock on right side, and TABBED Dock at bottom.. Using GT3 tabs background. WUNNERFUL.. nests as floating tab bar above the task bar, but on top the uptime bar. Very nice.. whether planned in or not. a superb effect.

Awesome eye candy on this...Questions:

1) What about the minimize problem? For example if I put a media player minimized in the taskbar, I can't get it back or even right click (I use QCD). Ever thought about having a hide button where you could just show the top half and toggle to choose if you want to use the bottom? That way you could easily choose when you could get something from a shortcut on the taskbar, use a windowblind, etc. Seems like it might be easy to add, since you have that feature already with the wallpaper.
2) Ever thought about an email checker to be added? This would look sweet on the line below the date and time..

Don't worry about the Resolution independence problem, you instructions are the same as what I put with my theme, its really Stardocks fault for not supporting res independent themes properly. Scripts are a good way to go, but who wants to spend their time scripting lol.

Excellent project, I have the deepest respect for people who develop larger themes over a long period of time, rushed and mass produce themes are becoming too common here.

Well done!
