Einsteins, the tabs are graphics that need to be edited seperately. I'll be releasing the PSD files shortly and a turorial for replacing or renaming the category tabs.

This is a truly AWESOME theme. Some of the others are cool in concept, but this is the first one that I think offers a complete replacement of the native windows desktop. And many thanks to Chadamus for the visual tutorials at the beginning of the comments -- awesome. I am new to Object Desktop and still learning how to tweak everything.

That said, I'd rather use the Windows taskbar because I find the theme taskbar to be too static -- no auto hide, for one thing. Secondly, the tabs for open tasks are kind of small for my taste.

I'm looking forward to tweaking the menus, etc. to fit my setup. I have a bunch of questions, but realized there's a size limit to these posts. Can I e-mail you, Chadamus?

I think this theme is great, but like many/most/almost all DesktopX goodies, it prevents me from viewing TV full screen.

I love your DX theme
Only one problem- I don't get the same right-click options as shown on the "How to add icons to your launch trays" tutorial. I only get ["set target" and "remove"] on icons for programs I alredy have. ["remove"] only on the icons for programs I don't have and some don't give an option at all.
please help

Psyler, you'd need to be in create or edit mode. Sounds like you are in user mode.

Okay...I am really loving this theme!! Having a blast with it. But I have a question to add to a previous question. How do you change your mode from user to edit or create? I'm sure it's here somewhere, just having a hard time finding it!!

Thanks

Okay, i don't know if it is either this, or if i have to change something in windowblinds... but how can i make my quicklaunch show up? I am using Stealth OS on windowblinds.

Btw, excellent job! I've been looking for something like this for ages.

Alpine, the launch trays make the quicklaunch bar a little more than obsolete.

fitter, no idea. Sorry. Unload DX before playing the game, perhaps.

What am I missing here? There's no dxtheme file in the zip. How do I install this? Thanks.

Just replace the .zip with .dxtheme. Then you can load the theme...

Excellent work. Advice to those with SD Central accounts, with show pre-release versions checked - DON'T. Was all excited about the new DX 3, and an awesome dx theme to use with it (Digital Revenge of course) and I can't save the theme or anything, but at least I now know what the weather is like in Cedar Rapids, Iowa! There's still some issues to work out I guess. So much for the latest and greatest with SD central. LOL

Chad - I was looking through some old files the other day, saw Indemnity, and was going to write to you and ask what you had been up to. I hadn't seen too much new stuff from you lately. I guess you answered that question and then some! It looks great at 1920 x 1200 on my laptop, and can't wait until I can save/configure the rest of it.

Gollums. With DX3 you need to be in "create" mode to be able to modify or save the theme. DX3 defaults to loading in the User mode. Just switch to Create mode and you will be able to use this theme all you like. I have it running with DX3 at home and it is great!

Hey Chadamus, just wanted to let you know that I figured out my problem.....ready for this........reason why I couldn't find the action file was because I never downloaded it from the website (totally missed that download arrow). O.k, you can at me now Anyways, working with my own zoomers and your action files works great along with the rest of your theme. Sorry for the stupid question and keep up the awesome work!
