| The image posted by Bl33k above has the graphical effect I am talking about!! The easiest way to see it is to look just at the left edge of the audio controls... see how the background is lighter there?? Then, about halfway to the weather, it goes back to normal. Same effect on bottom bar. This did not exist in DX 2.x. |

Martin, contact me via e-mail (chadross@mcleodusa.net) or MSN with the same address and I'll tell you how to fix it. This behavior only occurs for a few people, so I'm not sure what is causing it, but I do know the settings to correct it.

I'd post a fix if I knew why this only occured with an extremely small portion of those that download it. As it stands, it is only a few people.

Hi, this just looks excellent! I only have one problem. I cannot receive the dxtheme file. I get the whole program in separate pieces when i download it. What can I do to receive the dxtheme file?

exegtr, it should download as a .dxtheme file from this site. It wouldn't download as seperate files during the download. Does it come as a .zip file? What type of file does it download as?

I have found out what the problem with the tabs for the launch trays was. The launch trays won't show up for me if my task bar is located on the left end of the screeen and is locked when I start DesktopX. If I unlock the taskbar or move it to a different edge of the screen before starting desktopX I am able to see launch tabs. I hope this helps others who have been unable to see the tabs.

I now have a different problem with the launch tabs... two of them ( tools and office ) just dies every few days.. The png file disapears from the theme folder, and the only solution is to do a roll back of the whole PC... I've tried to back up the theme folder and then copy the missing files into the folder when they go missing, but to no avail. i'm running DX3.
Hope someone can help...

Martin> Unusual behavior there. Never heard of that one before. Instead of doing a rollback on the pc, you could backup the active theme directory and restore that. Might be easier than doing a rollback. DX3 moves that to the Documents and Settings>User>Application Data... something or other.
Placebo> Never tested it with non-standard taskbar placement. I wouldn't have expected that behavior, as the windows taskbar is hidden by default for this theme.

Great theme and would love to have it running all the time but I'm having a problem with one particular application. I have a All-In-Wonder video card (has a tv tuner) and on occassion watch TV . With this DesktopX theme loaded the TV app will launch with no picture. Only get sound. Even when I unload the theme I still only have sound. Have to re-boot XP to get the picture back. Any ideas why this is happening or suggestions to get the TV video to work?
I've tried launching the TV from your icon for Sage TV on the video launch bar and from the original TV application icon.

I have an all-in-wonder card too and anything that uses the overlay feature wrecks havok with the ATI tv app. the ATI tv app is poorly written anyway. I use that SageTV with my AIW card and it works great.

I've got a problem with the media player. I loaded the theme with one playlist running in WMP. Now I can't change it, and I'm getting really tired of the same songs. How do I change the playlist?

I love Digital Revenge, but everytime I reboot, I lose the side tabs and the taskbar.What's up with that? What can I do about it.? Also, I have tried to add icons to the trays, but I don't get the window showing set parent, etc. How do I get that?

Also, I noticed another problem, I can't click the "Customize Menu" button, however the different toggles work, they highlight when I hoover over it also, was hoping I could change drives and add/edit what drives/stats to show on the top/bottom bar(s)
