Pardon my ignorance but I'm not entirely sure I understand what you mean when you say to "popup an Open File dialog in the Favorites directory." However, any idea that you have would surely work. I guess what was running through my head was this: under the browse tab, if there could be something like the "quick links" in the Desktop tab, whereby we could list our favorite websites right there. That was what was running through my mind.
Regarding the Outlook sync idea, I was mainly thinking 1 note per task, and your idea of 1 note with the day's appointments is great! Regarding what fields, I would suggest time, date, and category for the appointments and just the task description & category for the notes that are used for tasks. How does that sound? . . . I have to say that this is the most innovative, fun, practical Desktop Theme that I have ever seen . . . very ingenious. Great job, Martin. <img src="//images3.sta

by the way, one quick question: What are the "previous" and "next" buttons for under the "Quick Links" section of the Desktop tab? . . . they are barely visible and don't seem to have any immediate purpose but I'm sure you know what they're for!

What I mean for the favorites is this: In a browser you typically have a drop down menu from which you pick the website you want. This isn't really feasible in DX as I can't intercept a menu choice and load it in the browser (well not easily anyway!).
What I was thinking is as follows ... When you run an application like word and select File ... Open you will get a dialog that opens from which you can select the file you want. I am proposing to do this for these favorites; opening the dialog in the user's favorites folder. Once you select a file here, it can then be loaded in the desktop browser.
I hope this is clearer ... if so, does it sound OK?

Sorry - missed your comment.
You can edit the Quick links - just click the button marked "Edit"
As for WB Skin, something like the WMP skin may look nice (https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=4962&LibID=1). I just tend to find skins I like and recolor them. That way you can guarantee that it will complement the desktop.

Your idea sounds great! I think I understand now. One other question: is there any way to have the theme where it is not always behind whatever else is on the desktop? For example, as I am typing this comment here, I am using the browser in the browse tab. I currently have trillian up and running. Whenever my typing comes to where the trillian program is running, it becomes hidden because the trillian program is "on top" of this theme. I assume that you have the state set to "always on the bottom" or something in that vein. Is there any way to change it?

Links as in Favorites? If so, the best way would be to popup an Open File dialog in the Favorites directory and then have that selection load in the browser. Is that OK?
It's not possible (unfortunately) to use a standard object which displays a menu of a folder as clicking an item on that menu launches the file in a browser rather than the desktop.
I can look at dynamically building a menu based on folder contents, I'm just not sure how practical that will be.
