Next, questions. I don't seem to be able to use the media bar -- I have MS Media 10 installed, but no media widgets. I was able to listen to the radio (how do I add more stations?), but would prefer to listen to my music (all) or playlists (tried dragging the playlists to the drop area, but was blocked).
I confess I'm a download-computer-eye-candy-junkie, not a seriously technical type person. I love Stardock's products and use most of them on my system -- unfortunately each module has to wait its turn, directly contingent on my time to learn how to use them.
I've read all the posts on this thread, not to mention the help file provided.
Again, wonderful work!
Suzanne

As to your questions:
1. I'm also using MS Media 10 and have had no problems with the player. It is based on Tiggz K-Media player Link, and it uses the ActiveX media player control supplied by Microsoft. The usual way to use it is to press the playlist button which opens the playlist window, then select something from the first drop-down (Select a source...), try "Media playlist", then in the second drop-down (Select a playlist...), select something, like "All music". You should then be able to play. If this does not work, tell me what does happen.
2. The calculator, ruler, and cross-hairs are on the DX-Bar (upper right side of screen).
I hope this helps.

1. Save the whole desktop (the one with your changes) to a different name (Save Desktop as).
2. Then reload the original Dragon Desktop. Then right-click on the SideBar, select DesktopX, then select Export, then check Export as packaged object with Select and related checked, hit next and Browse, give it a name and click Save, then Finish.
3. Reload your saved desktop (from #1).
4. Import the object you exported in #2.
Note: All of the above assumes you are in Desktopx Builder mode.
Hope this helps. Let me know.

Thank you, too, for your quick response!
