shrapnal - In general, if it is a shortcut type object, then use Set Target on the DesktopX right-click menu for the object. However, it also depends on how the person who put together the object or theme did it, so I would address the question directly to the author. If you are working with the Dragon Desktop, then I would look at the help first.

It would be cool though, to have the desktop resized with the side panels, so my windows are not hidden under the side panels. I can hide the sub panels, but i find them way too nice to hide them.

This is not so hard to do - DesktopX must be in "Builder" mode, then bring up the DesktopX Configuration, select the Desktop tab, then select Workarea. From there you would check Reduce work area and set whatever margins you want. Start with (based on my object sizes): left=116, right=269 OR 116 (depending on whether you include the LaunchBar shortcut tray), top=201, and bottom=70. Let me know how it works out...

FR&SJ all you have to do to re size the frame is go to the configure builder and click create-- control, right click properities and click the summery tab and change the WIDTH AND HEIGHT and hit apply
