Can't change weather location. Seems like you have made it with an older version of DesktopX - maybe it's not compatible with the latest version?

Yea, same thing on my end. Maybe you can release a widget to replace it.

Question/Comment:
I like the look of this skin, however, I attempted to clone one of the titles at the top of the skin (forget which one but does not matter) and then create a new 'bar' off of it. When I perform the control-left-click and then attempt to move, it simply disappears. Even attempting to move/adjust the existing bar titles, when it gets too close to another... it disappears. Very frustrating.
Is this not modifiable?
Update: Actually, it is not very modifiable. I noticed that the title bars have the text embedded in the bitmaps. Too bad. I really hate to search around for the font that you used. Moving on.

does desktopX take care of the startmenu and bottom taskbar skin? or is that just something made in the picture?(yes i'm fairly new to the whole thing)

Lil'man: the taskbar and start menu are skinned by WindowBlinds, a seperate program.

very nice skin, but is it possible to make the weather box actually work? instead of it being static text?
