Thank you Chasbo, I understand your problem, but is not easy, I should re-create all the graphics for 1024x768 resolution.
Who knows... maybe

One thing I tried but was unable to do (although I almost thought I could): Drag my own images onto the wallchanger.
Your walls are so much nicer than anything I could ever do . . but sometime I like my junk

Thank you Zubaz
I am a newbie with DesktopX Themes, I am sure that gef knows how a user can change the wallpapers.
I know only how to do it with DesktopX Builder as an author.
If you find out how you can do it, please let me know, I love to learn

Hy Adni18 Very nice theme!
To Change Walls:
For everyone, it is enough to change the name of image JPEG of your choice to one of them names:
"Landscape_2" and "Landscape_2-small"
"Landscape_1" and "Landscape_1-small"
"vista-1" and "vista-small"
first picture in1280x1024 bitmap (.bmp) and Small picture in 72x58 png (.png)
And to copy this image in the file: C:\Documents and Settings\"username"\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\DesktopX\CurrentTheme (change "username" to the name of your account user in Windows)
save and reload
for all who haven't dxbuilder enable "save current theme" in config desktopX (right click in systray)
CAUTION Small picture contours disappear if you would like keep them You must Directly modify the original picture with photoshop or other
i hope this is help you

Quote (Sir) Zubaz Today, 4:59 PM Comment #15 Cool, thanks! Would it be possible to drag an image and load it for later? I've seen objects where you can drag an image or folder onto a photo frame and the frame takes on that image? Adni, I am so sorry for hijhacking your comments. I think the theme is amazing, but at a customization site you have to expect users to want . . . well . . you know . .. customize! |
