work fine on my other pc (portable) in 1440x900 so what kind pf mater have you the theme is in resolution independent....

oh no it's not a windowsblinds theme but a desktopX theme you need desktopX by Stardock to load it and no it's for XP and not for Vista.

Clock keeps changing back and forward. I set the offset to +1 and its correct, then an hour later its wrong again.

You need desktopX by stardock that's all the theme is in resolution independent.

thanks for the reply, I have desktopx installed I dont see any way to change the res that it runs at.I cant seem to run any of the desktopx skins at all becasue of the res settings.
I also have windowblinds and all of them seem to be fine.

you don't need to change the resolution cause it's in resolution independent, you need just to load it with DX. I can affirm that the theme works really fine in 1440x900 cause my notebook (mean PC portable) run in this resolution.
There are many dxtheme who aren't in res inde but all my theme are in resolution independent.
I think you have a mater on your computer thus 2 things:
1st: Try to delete the cache of DX, delete this folder(be sure dx is disable)
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\DesktopX\CurrentTheme
2nd: if this not solve your problem let me know with a screenshot.

I can colaberate that fact, my laptop runs at 1440X900 and this theme runs OK at that, a couple of wee tweaks, hold ctrl and move, no brobs. jim

Serjantt you need to download and install DesktopX by stardock here and for this one to unzip the file and to double click on the VISTA DX.desktop you can find in the zip.
