Not only is this uber cool...cpu usage puts a dreamscene to shame.

I would like to see the speckling effect when the states change on what is the foreground part of the graphics - gone. It ruins the full 'under the desktop mechanics' illusion I feel I want to get from this, but just miss out on it by this nano-factor. Though maybe it will look far less interesting without it..
Otherwise, awesome.

Skarnivorous - I agree. Not sure why that texture 'creeps' like that - I've tried re-rendering a few times, trying different quality settings, always gets that problem. I have ameliorated the effect somewhat using photoshop and will update at some point. I've also improved the random firing of the tubes.

You sir, do that for skinning. It's always a huge treat to have you on the scene.

it looks soo cool, and if you keep the things small enough the cpu usages is negligible.
I think there could really be come cool things done with this setup.
Love it!! Keep it up!

I do not use hide icons option, so when I load this it shows animated object on top of the icons (I would like to see them though...), but for some reason when tube animation runs the icons below the object become visible...
I hope this is fixable, although I tried to do something like this when I saw some Dreams, but was put-off by the fact that I wasn't able to put the animation below desktop icons...
Great work, do keep it up
