Admittedly, this skin was not as many man-hours work as a full windows skin or something similar, but the current price seems to be consistent with the few other premium skins available right now.
For what it's worth, I currently have about 30 hours into making an upcoming dream. To get the effect I'm looking for, it'll probably be about 60 man-hours and 60 render-hours.

be nice if you could but this looks like a bait and switch to me.. If your going to sell something you should generate your own traffic, this is cheating.

Yes. The new version runs perfectly smooth on my machine and I have heard nothing negative from those who have already purchased.
vStyler,
People post relevant links to personal/sole proprietorship sites all the time here. I don't think this is any different. The link to the HD version is just a nice site to check out for those that like the original version.

Perhaps if you were selling shoes.. or ceramic frogs.. fact is your in direct competition with SD and their Dreams program and your drawing folks away from their product using THEIR site.
Dropping a line in a thread once in a while to promote your business is one thing.. pulling a bait and switch on their turf is another.
This just seems pretty blatent to me.
Dont get me wrong, im not opposed to you selling your work, I do the same. In fact if im wrong and I can just come on WC and advertise my new pay stuff for free that would be great..
Just doesn't work that way in the real world.. Its a pretty slick move.. but wrong nevertheless.

I do, however, agree with you in that 'pulling a bait & switch" is not acceptable. I do not think that posting irrelevant links is ok, but if what I link to is, in fact, entirely on-topic and within posted Terms of Service, I don't feel there is any wrong-doing. It is certainly not my intent.
Maybe I can submit a 'Ceramic Frog Dream' to WC soon I appreciate the fact that you're able to challenge other's opinions and actions in a mature way.

If Stardock can profit from Dreams, so should ninjamuk!! There shouldn't be a double standard as to "who" profits. Stardock does the same bait and switch, only they use free user submissions to accomplish this goal which is far more offensive in my opinion.

Hey great dream, just wondering about the hd version. Is it still available? The site it links to is questionable, and I just want to make sure that you still have it for sale or might have uploaded it somewere else. thanks
