I have had the same issues uploading my swf files that others have mentioned. The uplaod completes but the submit button stays at Please Wait. I decided the full size image gives a good representation of the quality vs a small thumbnail that may not represent the entire loop. I do see where this would be helpful now that I have my MPEG template designed and my files are no longer the small wmv type.
Did you mention that it worked better for you if you uploaded the swf first and then your skin? I will try to work with it some more so if you have any tips that could help that would be cool.

I went back and re-read your post. I do have slightly better luck when doing first the swf and then something else. Even if I get the error msg, it still appears to work (occasionally).
