Thank you all. It doesn't work very well if you have a desktop of icons and gadgets, but does pretty good on a fairly empty desktop.

Like the original City Pulse, it is still San Diego.

I really do like this.  Didn't think I would but really do!  Great job.

Interesting These "Series" if you wanted to do something like that.  Take famillar citiescapes and doing ALL sorts of animations, filters, ect.  There is a number of things my small mind and skinning accumen can think of. (Actually I have no such accumen, but I am trying).

Its such a good idea I think.  But what do I know, really? - BarJabba

Good stuff, it blends in nicely with my desktop and the Win 8 Metro theme with transparency and blur on everything including the Windows toolbar etc.

Please re-up the WMV version so I can use it on Windows 10. Thanks.

This is such a beautiful, clear image (and the action is FANTASTIC!) that I had to try it. The way I get around the icons problem is to take transparent images that fit into the picture and convert them into desktop icons with IconDeveloper. Then I change my various desktop icons to those, remove the captions, and place them where they appear to be part of the original image. Works like a charm.

Still using it frequently... I love large cities and would love to see more of these using crisp, clear images so that the quality would be as great as this one. Would happily pay for it...
