Compression magic, that results in much higher CPU usage. This Dream looks great, but it's not gonna keep on my desktop just because of that usage. TheMasterBaron's low-res dreams prove that lower compression results in bigger files, but also much lower CPU usage. I guess using low compression is just the right way to minimize CPU hog until the final version of DreamScene is released ( and let's hope it's really gonna use GPU for calculations ).

MPEG2 might fit Baron's kind of dreams, but they are totally disastrous if you want a sharply defined and clear picture. If you want, get this when it's out on WMV and recode it.

Most new desktop users can use this flawlessly with good drivers.

Cool man, this is the only dream I have seen that does not pause when windows are maximized

I agree. However it might not be a bad idea to try compressing Dreams as lowly as possible, no matter what codec do you use. Unless, of course, you are limited by StarDock limits for uploading Dreams. I think users themselves can stand downloading 100MB Dream, I don't think their i-net connection is too slow.

why would you want a dream to run while windows are maximized? you cant see it any ways.

I have Aero transparency enabled on maximized windows, so I can also see dream through titlebar.
Great work!
Works perfect even on my bysy 100% time 100% loaded CPU.

...I have multiple monitors, so it is really irritating when dreams pause on the secondary screen as soon as I maximise on my primary. Even if I didn't, I'd still want to be able to see it through the sidebar.

I have a clear taskbar and max trans on windows, and I use the thick taskbar as well(double sized) so I see it on the top and bottom of the screen. I actually thought they all paused when windows were maximized, however they dont

I have to agree, Very nice dream, though, if the CPU usage on this dream were somewhat less, I would be inclined to actually use. keep up the good work, don't give up!
