yes.play with things.add an effect to a clip,change the parameters and see what happens.
in a sense push buttons lol...thats how i learned.

After effects, hmm. I have the CS3 Master collection. I should dig into it and see if i can create something even halfway decent. Any advice for a n00b?

This is a really nice dream, I just wish it didn't get dark, or you had that as an option to be ticked, watching my desktop fade back and forth gets really annoying.
It's really a shame too, because this is probably my favorite winter dscene.
