Torment 3
Well it's been a while since I first uploaded Torment 1, that ugly brown thing.. I thought that a year or two ago that I would release Torment 2, but now I'm at 3, and yes the numbers represent complete and major changes. Once again my theme stopped changing as, it's just the way I like it and need it, so I'm sharing it.
Torment 3 is a very usable minimalist theme (everything can hide or autohide or otherwise be out of the way, leaving you with just a black desktop wallpaper if you like)
READ THE THEME.RC FILE! While this theme is OTS2 drop-n-go ready, I have put a lot of work into organizing and commenting the .rc files for your tweaking pleasure.
While everything is pretty much in the same place as it was since Torment 1, it's all more configurable. The Winamp controls are more compact and include buttons for everything you would need the winamp main window for, as well as a LSXCommand bar. The Tray can be toggled between onbottom and ontop-offset, allowing you access to it without blocking much of your programs if you don't like it totally hidden. Tasks are along the top center, and the VWM is in the top almost-left-corner. The corners of the screen are NOT hotspots, nor are there any bars along the right or bottom of the screen, so you can get to your tab bars and scroll bars freely. Programs take up the entire screen when maximized.
New for version 3 is the theme config menu, accessible by shift+leftclicking your desktop (I didn't set this silly method, the OTS guy did). In it you can toggle every little attribute of the theme with a simple click, down to popup fading speed and transparency levels, task display, tray control, every element such as Tasks and VWM can be turned off if you wish as well. The config menu features nested menus that only display when they are relevant. I've included two very basic White and Black skins for the theme selectable through this menu.
While the included Tasks display system does work, I recommend Objectdock as a taskbar, it's fast, cool looking and more stable than Litestep. Task autohide feature is broken.
Theme does NOT include any wallpapers, cursors, sounds, icons, anything silly like that. What you DO get is two skins and .rc files. The theme also does not mess with your personal hotkey and popup settings.
Rainlendar is pictured but not included, I define mine in personal.rc
