I think, this is the best volume docklet. Mix of brain and beauty. Bravo to fedroponce for creating such an innovative docklet. I have some suggestions, which hopefully would be heard by the author. For functionality. Addition to scroll, left-click and hold to increase volume, right-click and hold to decrease volume. One left-click will open a scroller, like: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=644&libid=34 For looks. Option to set how big the percentage and mute letters (docklet info). If possible, where the letters will appear too (which side of the image). If above are done, I think it would be nice to have an option to disable the label that shows the current volume. However, even without those suggestions, this docklet already rocks. Thank you, fedroponce.

Based on your feedback I have done a few updates to the docklet... I did not have the time to do it all (some stuff I need to research on how to do it), but I hope this meets some of your expectations.

Nice work, I like functional stuff that looks cool too! My problem is that the only way I can raise or lower the volume is with the integrated volume -/+ on my laptop. The -/+ on the keyboard and my scroll wheel on my wireless USB mouse arn't working. Any ideas to make this work. I'd really like to make it work w/ my mouse!

Well, no... I am no graphic artist... it took me more time to create the graphics compared to the docklet programming itself... I think we should ask the skinners to create a better icon set for rhis docklet... I would be happy to integrate it if I get a better icon.

Well... I have both a lap & a desktop (with several USB mice)... I will test the lap again to check if I missed something.

I like the docklet but it does not work sometimes. When I first add the docklet I can adjust the volume by scrolling with the mousewheel but later on I can not adjust the volume anymore by scrolling. And double clicking does not mute the sound. I have to remove the docklet and add it again to make it work. I am using Vista Ultimate 64bit also.

I can't, however, get the 'left-click' to work...
I actually use RocketDock and I know there is sometimes problems of it following the OD docklet spec. but I tested in OD and it still didn't work...
example: "C:\windows\system32\sndvol32.exe" works fine in a command window, but will not work in the docklet config. Am I doing something wrong?
FYI:
- in RocketDock the double-click does NOT work to toggle the mute function. In OD this works.
- in RocketDock or ObjectDock I can't seem to configure the left single click to do anything...
- everything else still seems to work fine.

Left click works as follows... you first need to make the docklet the active windows... by left-clicking on it. After that you may use the middle scroll button from your mouse or the arrow keys (up/down) to increase or decrease the volume. Sometimes it gets a bit difficult to use since clicking on any other docklet would make that docklet the active one.
